I may have been thinking of madlaw/quickswitch which did have the ratchet problem, maybe they fixed it for Six Knight?

Either way, I ordered Dai Z and found a good deal on Revolver Core so they'll both be here this week. The temptation to pick up Trianix and just... not transform him is strong, but I'll probably grab Severo Core next instead.

Man, I installed the City Commander set on my classics and that's the way he's' going to stay. Enough flexing of decade-old plastic to give me a heart attack, no way I'm doing it again.

We kinda had to pry it out of Kuma a bit ago. I don't know the details and he wasn't very forthcoming. I can only assume he's under some kind of NDA or whatever. I can't afford more toys right now anyway so I'm good with them staying dead for now.

 

Havent we known for…um…years? I was at the Botcon where Maketoys debuted. cygnie and Tf source brought the stuff for both Fansproject and Maketoys. It was always described to make as just a different label

Just look at the toys, they share the same aesthetic and paint finish

Maybe theres some staffing or funding shuffling, but they share a factory and designer, and clearly everyone works together

 

I really love FP Menasore now I'm trying to complete DinoKing love them in victory and they are niffty little bots in hand.

 

Yeah, it makes total sense. My MT Iron Will is very much fansproject aesthetic blown up to MP size.

 

I am going to be listing a set of the Holiday Eclusive Deluxe Insecticons in my "For Sale" thread soon, if anyone is interested. They are in excellent condition and complete. I will be asking around $75 for the set of three figures. PM me if interested.

 

Just bought one of the Core figures, recently. Revolver/Roadbuster and man, it takes me back to when FP really tried. He's not perfect and in some ways, I'd argue that Hasbro's Roadbuster does things a little better but overall, this is a really nice figure. Well worth the price I paid. He looks and feels more like the original G1 toy/catalog pics than the CHUGBuster does, but CHUGBuster looks like he'd be animation accurate if he had ever made an appearance in the original cartoon. I will say Revolver feels more solid and better built.

I've never seen that box before. Always singles or a colored box set for the Monstructor recolor. This is the first time I can say I've seen that black and white box... Says something about a new weapon, but looks like everything the previous releases had??

 

Wow, I've never seen that box either (skip towards the end of the video, around 1:18)....hopefully they reissue the Monstructor!
