Yikes it looks like his back kibble is gonna be less poseable than I thought

 

Ouch that 3D view looks worse than the front pics from a week back....

 

Jesus he looks terrible yet I still want him so bad.

 

Called it.. there's no way of fixing that back kibble... unless it gets customized somehow.

All that said.. I'm still buying him.  

 

You definitely made him look more exciting than any pose I've done. I need more flight stands  

 

Meant to take alt-mode pics for another board post, but I'm too lazy to do it right now. So I posed my jet/helicopter TFs and made some fun scenarios.

It's funny having the movie and G1 casts interact with each other, I'd like to do it more in my posing.

The back is giving me crosshairs vibes and it's pretty big. Those hip panels too. Really hope they are tight otherwise its gonna be a hassle to pose. Other than that I actually like this look a lot and think he will be a decent figure.

 

Look I get why people don't like that back kibble but am I the only one who thinks the leg panel need to say bye bye as well? They could've folded it more...

 

Was going through TFwiki when I said these rad golden Prime1 statues of Megatron and Galvatron. Would love to see a figure in these colors.

Have gotten this figure myself not to long ago, he's no where near as bad as it seemed back when he first came out. But he desperately needed some paint, i think that would of soften some criticism towards him.

What gun is that? It fits well on him.

Yeah that thigh kibble sticks out like a sour thumb, besides that he looks good.

 

Would've loved to see Golden Megatron in ROTF, it would've set him apart from 2007 megs (I also liked that skin in the ROTF game)

 

I have the normal colored version of that ROTF Megatron bust. It's pretty rad!

 

yeah, but maybe I´ll be lucky somehow and find one for a decent price  
If not, I´ll have to wait fpr the Premium Version.

Thanks for that idea. I might actually try that. It did work qith my Airrazor recently, but I bought Jetfire about 2 years ago so I´d guess that´s too long ago.

altrough progres is slow with the remodeling of our house, you know I got you covered..
Both Barricade and Sideways (or deadend as he started as that) have their altmodes painted, it is just the detailwork left.. And as you know I just got Soundwave in and looking to find proper reference pics ;-)


That said, your collection is beauiful! I love the scale of those together. Such a shame Hastak did not bother to produce one scale and you have to mix and match from other series to get a proper scale setup but you are doing a wonderfull job at it!
Maybe you could show @Artistodave a comparison with MPM Ironhide, Optimus, Ratchet and the Battleblades Bumblebee you have? I think those really look amazing together.

When I was still customizing in SS scale, I was actually planning a Galvatron custom based on the AOE Evasion Optimus, the back of the cab becomes his chest so it could easily hide the botchest in altmode and I could do the underarms with all the bulk inside the high roof.. And with Galvatron's legs already being the truckbed those could have vit on Prime easy making it easy pickings.. he looks excelent painted up, I did that and was impressed at how a proper paintjob brings out the detail on him.

A SS Galvatron on bases of the Evasion Prime mold would work really, really well!

I've painted mine (my second custom ever) and I have reference images if you need some. Looking back to it, I believe I would opted for more metallic colors...
