I'm guessing his guns are black because they're likely on the same plastic sprue as the feet, which are black because the original toy's feet are black.

 

This isn't Marvel Galvatron colors though.

 

Looks good, but since it\'s a repeat character it will be an easy skip. The stickers are interesting though, I\'m curious if we\'ll see more of that in Selects going forward. I\'m not adamantly opposed to it so long as the stickers are of decent quality.

 

I find it funny that there are so many complaints about the stickers, which are pretty indistinguishable from a lot of the tacky Toyhax ones that people froth at the mouth over for their CHUG toys.

This deco looks almost super cool. He is let down by the lack of grey paint on the crown which is left the purple plastic colour. A slight pale blue tinge to the grey would have gone a long way too.

It might be very different in hand, but the purple on the arms looks pretty close to what we should have got on the Kingdom release, instead of the pinky magenta colour.

 

Oh no..  This is the first time selects didnt vibe with me! That sucks, Cause I was hoping it would.  The non-sticker ones edits are good, but They dont *hit* it.  I feel like this thing would shine best kitbashed with the voyager headmaster they released a couple ol\' years back.  

..He does look hella classy with that gray though.

That aside, eh. Galvatron's toy colors never did much for me. The stickers are a bad look, especially since they have to be applied yourself. Unless I'm just completely unable to find Kingdom Galvatron and have to resort to this, it's an easy pass.

 

Huh, to be fair it never got an official name in the movie, I just always assumed it was the Nemesis II. Looking it up I see the source is apparently from an IDW behind the scenes compilation, so I guess the book is canon, but since it’s never been stated on screen, isn’t it kind of murky that Revenge is it’s ‘official’ name?

As many versions of the Nemesis as there has been, I’d just as well assume the intent behind Galvatron’s gun was the Revenge, but the Nemesis de facto, is much more known about by the general fan base as the iconic Decepticon ship.

Edit: Apparentyl, more digging under TFWiki’ ‘Nemesis’ article, there’s an IDW 2005 ship called Nemesis that looks like the Revenge. So the precedent for this being a version of the Nemesis still stands.

The stickers are G1 accurate, so that's a win, but they're made of that POTP crap, so that's a fail.

My gosh, it's like my childhood memory came to life. All it needs to do is light up and make noise.

 

do you also think superman's hair is blue, or do you understand that sometimes in comic books, blue is used as a stand-in for various shades of black or gray

 

Yeah, it is odd for people to act like the Marvel Galvatron wasn't blatantly meant to be represent a color scheme that was colored like the toy, specially since all the color placement matches so well.
