I imagine we'll get it with the SDCC Galvatron... the Unicron grid version.

 

I want to see stock photos without the stickers applied before I decide.

 

It's not (solely) about stickers being cheaper. It's the same justification the Hasbro team gave when questioned about the stickers for half of Titans Return and then POTP: it's a conscious choice to make it feel more like an original G1 toy. But at least these foil stickers are included on a sheet so we can decide whether we want to have them/that experience.

 

Very excited. Looks great already, and the best news is that the stickers are not pre-applied.

 

Maybe meant to complete the toy look since the original toy had stickers?

Yeah those stickers will be ignored. Shame the deco isn't more faithful to the toy or Marvel design.

I’m liking the base colors of the figure, but those stickers are definitely a letdown. Hopefully Toyhax will release a better quality set sometime down the line.

 

He looks like a robot version of the whitest rapper the 1990s ever produced. 

 

Stickers is abit of a shame but I could ignore it and possibly either customize some of the easier bits and wait for Toyhax for the rest. Other then that I’m genuinely excited for this, I can’t believe it comes with a green matrix like the comics did!

 

Does it look good? Absolutely! Does it warrant purchasing the mold again? For me, definitely not. I consider myself more of a toy>toon person, but I do prefer Galvatron In purple. Also leader class isn't cheap.

This might sound sad, but anybody buying this that doesn't want the stickers PM me a price. Those I'd actually like to throw on my Kingdom one!

 

Oooff, gone from one of my most anticipated to not wanting this at all.

Warden got us away from stickers I hope this is a one off,regardless of budget, they look so cheap.

This had so much potential

 

I like the toy a lot, I like this mold. Kingdom Galvatron might be my toy of the year... I never loved the classic toy colors; even from an artistic stand point, the design was less pleasing. I still haven't made a final decision on this release. I love Galvatron enough to do it...

... But the SDCC Galvatron, that's the one I am waiting to see.

 

I prefer cartoon colors for him so I wasn't going to be getting this anyway but all those stickers are pretty disappointing. I sure hope that's not a sign of things to come.

 

I get that, I really do.

But like, that shit is antiquated, and I don't use that word very much. There's a reason I drastically prefer modern toys to the G1 toys. The main reasons being that modern toys are more posable, something I've always loved action figures to have, and also no damn stickers, which are just annoying. It's part of why I stopped enjoying Legos as a kid.

I'm not one of those people that say "hasbro needs to stop relying so much on G1!", But in this case, yeah. This is taking it too far. Your crippling the quality of a modern toy just to throw in a completely unnecessary homage to an old toy, which literally everyone would have preferred to have either been painted or left off.
