well to be fair the preorder issue is all on the sellers more than anything. they tossed those up as soon as the teaser was announced. nothing was ever final at that time.

Damn, if they release these guys in Diaclone colors, I might not be able to resist.

I wish they had more painted details in their alt modes. Would look a lot nicer. It's a shame the max-toon aesthetic fad detracts from the potential and what could be done with 2020s technology to make these look really impressive at such a small scale. Oh well, still picking them up to compare with MS's set in-hand.

I'd prefer red Long Haul and orange Hook and Mixmaster so is confirmed that also these are Diaclone originals and not just later KO'but s if crane and mixer are blue I'll pass without regrets and if this version was the first to be relased at times then surely NA will procedd with them. I'm more interested in seeing SG and if they release a G2 dark orange version, tempting but more difficult.
Edit :just found that set with blue Constructicons was the first released, sorry again.

    Yeah Lady!
Wasn't impressed with their Galvatron mold, but Shockwave, Bonecrusher, and Scavenger are pure win.

In case you're wondering what the reviewer was ranting about towards the end of the review, he was complaining about the extreme partsforming that NA are doing for this, and finds it a waste since the bots are well done, as he rather have minimal partsforming since it's been done before.

He then goes on to fan mode a Devastator arm using Scavenger, saying that it's possible that NA considered not using partsforming in their designs, but gave in to market demands, since it wouldn't look G1 accurate, and that's what people want nowadays:

Bonecrusher's foot transformation is insane. My brother had the original Bonecrusher so I remember transformation; this above and beyond. I like how they reduced his front blade in robot mode by having the sides separate.

That’s what future recolors are for. We know we’re getting a G1 toy version. That may have the added tampo’d decal details you’re looking for to make the vehicles pop more.

Yeah, if it's one thing NA does well, it's recolor. At the very least, we're sure to get interesting box art for them.

Yeah, I think that’s a bit of a reach. Just because the legs are super-articulated, it doesn’t necessarily follow that they were originally planned to be a forearm.

Oh! Cool, I didn't realize they planned a G1 toy version.

They could use the tread on the back to make the forearm and keep the front tread in place like in the show.

In case you haven't noticed, the box art of Bonecrusher has green legs. It is definitely "final" right down to that point in time and clearly the change to purple is a last min decision.
