Parts of it yup but that's more of an indication of what's available and the fact they're the best iteration of the character I can buy from a pure g1 Sunbow sense. You've literally quoted me saying I'd happily buy non transforming versions if they were more accurate and better articulated. I'd absolute love to see the 3p that does the none transforming Movie figures do super accurate g1 figures.

That said it doesn't change the fact I've never transformed half of it and don't ever intend to. It's not that difficult a concept to understand, is it?

Hey if anyone wants an XTB Fuzz that’s been opened and attempted to transform but otherwise fine, PM me and make me an offer.

Like I said nothing is broken or missing. Paint seems to be fine, no chips or anything. Same problem with the gun everyone else has, where it’s too big to tab in. I’m just too dumb even with videos to transform it and I don’t like the tiny shoulder ball joints. If you’re intrigued by the pics of XTB Groove and Hot Spot and Defensor and want this guy at a discount hit me up.

It seems like a blatantly under-served market to me. Banana Force is doing those really nice RiD figures, but my guess is that the RiD market isn't quite there yet the same way that the G1 market is (pure conjecture on my part, I could be absolutely wrong). I don't know the numbers, maybe the demographic that wants figures of G1 characters but doesn't care if they transform (or explicitly doesn't want them to transform) is too small for a 3P to be profitable operating in that space. I think Banana Force said the figure didn't sell well, right? Or am I making that up?

Anyway, just seems a little weird to me that no 3P has tried to claim this slice of the market.

I laughed when I read your post, not in a mocking way, but out of sympathy for your troubles as I am in the same predicament. My Fuzz is currently laying half transformed in a drawer. I got a mate, who is a fellow collector, visiting soon and he is going to have a crack at it as well. So I feel your pain.

If myself and my friend can't figure it out, I am selling my copy as well and will just wait until another company takes a crack at Defensor (and no, MMC will not do).

The RED line was full of promise when I first saw it but I'd need articulation to match MP44, which isn't much to ask for on sonething that doesn't transform. As it is its a no sadly.

MMC may have to do. I actually like their designs on the individual bots quite a lot. It's just the gestalt that looks meh to me. Their Defensor has no ass. Ironically the individuals look a lot cleaner in the back than XTB's, and I'm confident their transformations and QC will be much simpler. I also have the GTs and am just waiting on their Hot Spot.

That's the problem, I am only in it for the gestalt, I don't care for how they look individually. And the MMC Defensor is too short, too lanky and I am not in favor of the all-in-one gimmick, because the MMC Bruticus was a floppy disproportioned mess and I fear their Defensor will be no exception.

Fun fact I just discovered: It is a royal pain in the ass to list Fuzz on eBay. Apparently “Streetwise” is an anti Semitic slur. Who knew? Ever since that controversy a few months ago where racist Republicans were buying up certain Dr. Seuss books, eBay has been really cracking down on hate speech and slurs and whatnot and “streetwise” is a word they’ve flagged. I had to explain to some poor Indian customer service rep that I didn’t name the damn thing. So stupid. I hate you, X-Transbots!

As I was speaking in general terms when I said "we" I was of course expecting there to be outliers, and I wasn't even directly responding to the OP, but the person he was quoting.. My point was only that you wouldn't be here if you weren't interested in transformers that transform... not that you couldn't be interested in other things. That said, reading comprehension can be difficult and maybe you thought I was jumping on something else, when all I did was my little rant about AM being dumb. Had nothing to do with you having transformers that transform and you don't transform them. Guess what, sometimes I don't either. Regardless of whether I transform them or not doesn't mean that I only want transformers that transform.

The RED line doesn't even meet Marvel Legends standards of articulation. Than and the designs aren't pure Cartoon, but rather a mix match. I totally would have kept buying them if they went Sunbow and eventually offered BAF as combiner limbs.

Lol was gonna post the same thing!! In the UK Streetwise is literally an organisation combating antisemitism (among other things)!! Wtf!! :lolol

It's sad so many big companies give so much decision making power to dumb algorithms.

Agree. It's a mediocre product at best. Maybe combined mode will be the positive outcome for this set. Otherwise, I stand by this:
