I think there will be more restocks than Overload but he will be less available that Grimlock. Grimlock was double packed in his shipping case. So if a store got 3 cases, they’d have 6 Grimlocks to move. With Slag, he’s partnered with a retooled figure and not double packed. However, the retooled figure is not a major character (in fact my understanding is Grindor was mistakenly put in as Blackout, even though Blackout was killed in the first movie. Thus the need for a new name and size change) and is likely to shelfwarm more than a Slag would. So I see him being more available than Overload but less available than Grimlock

 

I’d also add that the farther into waves a toy line gets the harder it often is to find, as the shelf warmers from earlier waves clog the shelf.

 

This is true. I would say a month after this wave is sighted at both Walmart and Target they’ll become more scarce

 

I still see Overloads locally.

Found a Slag yesterday not long after my previous post. Was at Sawmill Target. Went to a 4th cookout after or i would have responded sooner. Nothing else was there beside some leftover wave 3 core figures I think. The green dinosaur one.

 

Chillicothe Walmart.

 

Managed to find a Slag at Bridgewater Target. Checked Blue Ash and Fields Ertel too, they were dry.

 

Truman boulevard Target had both slag and grindor but now they're gone. Already checked Hilliard Rome, Lennox, and stringtown. Nothing there.

Anakin: found 2 leader class scavengers, no overloads.

 

I got my Grindor in this morning and wow do I really like him. I always enjoyed the Blackout mold but I really like the updated hands. The extra rust/dirt tampos I could have done without but thankfully he’s not covered in them. I may remove them later but idk. My copy seems to be fairly stiff, not a floppy mess like some people have reported

Nothing new at Beavercreek Target and Walmart tf wise, but the Target did have 4 of the He- man rise of evil 2 packs and a shit load of sky sleds on sale for 14.99.

I went through there a little after 10:30 this morning as well. Yeah nothing around the total Westsides of Columbus.

 

Grindor at South Lebanon Target.

 

Grindor and Slag at North Canton, Target. Slag came home with me, Grindor is still there.

 

Saw Slug wave at Target on Howe avenue. They were still there as of about 11:30 today.
