Details of the Shooting of July 4, 2021 for Transformers Rise Of The Beasts (2022) in Montreal Quebec Canada

I was an extra on the set of Transformers Rise Of The Beasts. The footage was taken in front of one of the entrances to the Place Ville Marie building in Montreal Quebec Canada.


• So here is a summary of one of the sequences shot of the film:

Anthony Ramos who plays Noah was accompanied by his little brother (in the movie). He was going to an appointment with a boss (job interview, if I understood correctly). After a short walk, Noah (Anthony Ramos) asks his little brother to wait outside on a long bench. Then Noah goes to the entrance of a building that is near by and enters.

Once inside, he talks to the receptionist. And if I understand correctly, there seems to be a misunderstanding according to Noah who says he has an appointment and the receptionist says no he doesn't. Then Noah sees the boss and goes to meet him. The rest I was not there.


Anthony Ramos was dressed in a gray men's suits (jacket and pants), with white dress shirts, dark red tie I think and brown shoes. His little brother (or rather Noah’s little brother lol) was dressed in blue denim jumpsuits, a sweater written "Air" (from Nike) blue-turquoise and black. I forgot the color of his sneakers.

Director Steven Caple Jr was there and directed Noah (Anthony Ramos) and his younger brother.


Note: I could not take pictures during the shooting, it’s a shame but I would have had consequences you understand. I was only able to take pictures at the end of the shoot, who come at the bottom of this message. And I blurred the faces out of respect for people as these pictures will travel on the fandom Transformers.

 

That is insanely interesting that they’re using “Transformers 7”

Could also indicate how much regard they’re giving to this film and BB being a reboot.

I’d expect this on a movie ticket stub, but in the actual production? Hmmm

 

Eh, it's not like they can call it anything else if this chair was made prior to deciding on the title of the film. It's the 7th live-action Transformers film after all. I wouldn't say it has anything to do with continuity, especially considering Bumblebee was called a "new storytelling universe" by Hasbro and it's still referred to as TF6.

 

More likely they haven't decided the title yet when those chair fabrics were made, so they went with TF7, as it's the 7th movie.

 

How is job hunting relevant to a transformers storyline? That shit was the worst part of DOTM

 

Something else I just noticed, they went back to the old classic G1/'07-'13 font for the logo, as opposed to say the post-2014 logo font.

 

Bumblebee was very often referred to as Transformers 6. It's just the order in which they are made.

 

What are people assuming that this one is a prequel?

 

This was literally one day on set lol. You can’t draw entire conclusions from one scene that was apparently shot yesterday. It could even end up on the cutting room floor, we just don’t know yet

 

No... it's transformers 9 smh of course it's the 7ith film it's not hard to figure out

 

At the risk of sounding like I'm trying to contradict you for the sake of it (I'm not) I recently tried to rewatch DOTM, got about 35 minutes into it and gave up through boredom, but the interviews were the only part that amused me, albeit mildly.

I did try to finish it the next day but was saved by the bell as it was taken off netflix literally that morning lol

 

Yeah, that’s one aspect of life I don’t wanna see when watching escapist films like these, especially since they barely have anything to do with the subject matter.

Hated seeing the college, NeEd mOnEy tO bUy a hOuSe aNd sEtTLe dOwN, job hunting, nEeD MoNeY FoR CoLLeGe, toxic father/ daughter relationship, and etc stuff in RotF, DotM, and AoE.

 

Paramount should’ve hired a different director after the ROTF debacle.

Seems like a down on his luck kind of guy is gonna meet the Auobots who will change his personal life by coincidence. Its what they did with Sam in TF1. And Cade in TF4. And Vivian in TF5. And Charlie in BB. They really aren't fond of doing new things in Hollywood, are they?
