The Battle Across Time sets and a few others are not quite what I mean whan I say "Amazon Exclusive" I mean "An Amazone Exclusive" with no other releases.

Likewise with Bee he has a japanese release so no one really has an excuse for not getting one same with Soundblaster - they were all obtainable else where, as for Soundwave (white box) I don't know how obtainable hi is as I got mine from Smyths - but the walmart Megatron's were a lot more plentiful than say Thrust or Runabout in Target are/were. and those have the same problem - especially thrust.

A good example of a Toxic Amazon Exclusive is the Ramjet and Thrust set & the Paradron medics set..
It's still kinda bad with some of the others but even if they are "actual" amazon exclusives they are still less desirable so there is at least a chance to get them - I hope I'm not complaining about not being able to get Red Alert (earth Mode) for months in the way I've been about Runabout.

It's not idea when stock of an item get dumped on a market at clearance prices as seems to have happened with X-Panse in America and with Gigawatt & Maverick in the UK. if only because it means global distribution is flawed on that item, but at least it means that someone wanting to get one with the right contacts isn't going to pay an insane premium for them if they can't get them domestically.

I personally love Clearance stuff - if not for clearance I'd like have no Hasbro Zoids at all as all the ones I had came from clearance retailers.

 

What are the best suggestions folks have made for what to rename "JP93"?

The face is clearly modeled on the character of Robert Muldoon from the first movie, and Muldoon means "Fortress Chieftain," so maybe there's something there -- like maybe just call him "Chieftain"? Or more randomly "Safari" could work too. Actually, come to think of it, Muldoon was Jurassic Park's game warden, so he could be called Warden. The novel described him as "grim faced" so you could call him "Grimface" but that's pretty silly. JP93's Ford Explorer XLT is referred to as a "Park Drive Land Cruiser" in the Jurassic Park wiki, so you could also call him Parkdrive. Muldoon's most famous line is "Clever girl" so another option is to call him Clever.

What else we got?

 

Well, if he's the Ford Explorer the kids were in that got the top caved in, you could just call him Flat-Top. Or, according to the T-Rex, he could just be called Lunch.

No. But I would expect enough stock to atleast last half a day.
I've been around since 2004 under a different account that was lost, but I'm done with the community side of the fandom. And I'm slowing my collecting down. If I said the sky was blue someone would angrily retort how it's not. TFW2005 has become like Twitter and I'm done.

 

"Enough stock" is all relative to popularity. There likely will be more stock once the figure becomes available, as preorders will be used to gauge popularity. It's possible Hasbro and Amazon only came up with enough supply based on what they thought this would do and it outran that expectation.

Also, you've got until December to save up because that's when Pulse's listing goes live. And if it's anything like the other Collabs it'll go in and out of stock after that initial wave as well.
