That is super mega disappointing they didn’t give Sweep a new or at least slightly altered head. I figured he’d get a head based on the Takara Titanmaster Sweep.

So according to TFWiki, Sweep Four is the one that got shot in the face by Wheelie in "Five Faces of Darkness" ... hmm, might need to see if I can get one of those blast effects to connect with one of their faces.

Scourge and then six Sweeps. I have three Scourges. So... yeah, I am enough of a fanboy of the Unicronian Decepticons to get four more Sweeps. I'll think of a creative way to display them.

And yes, I am happy they are identical to their boss.

 

I was hoping for it to be colored like the toy or Marvel comics Scourge.

 

Here's hoping we get a fullbody of Jolt in the future because lord that boi needs it. We've never seen a good pic of him.

 

The solution to animation accuracy is that youve already made a seeker then. Only the opportunity to get Scourge for those who cant find him justifies this, if a special-ops clone leaked and it was stock phase 1 armour because canonically there was a period where all the clones werent distinguished in any way, people would have thoughts. Or, they didnt have to put it in the animation-accuracy line.

This wouldve been nice. Not the same but I even wouldve taken an open-mouthed face of anger, if only to buy that and sell my Scourge.

So let's get this straight, people are upset that SS Sweep, released in a line whose whole schtick is screen accuracy, doesn't look less screen accurate. This site never ceases to impress.

I still wished it was in a reformatted gridline deco. That way it could still be different while still being technically screen-accurate.

 

The Sweep is a joke. It just seems like a pointless attempt to sell more of the same figure when fans can army-build Scourge as it is.

lmao I just bought 2 more Scourges 3 days ago. I guess the Sweep will be my Scourge and I will forever be miffed knowing my collection is "wrong".

 

But it is in the animation accurate line, so the complaint that it's too similar to Scourge is kind of silly

 

They are releasing a toy/Marvel Galvatron, why would we not expect the same for Scourge's huntsmen?

 

Ya know, I got all excited when I saw the thread title and realized this was the first we’d seen of the SS84 Sweep. I’m not sure what I expected. At the very least, I guess it gives me an easier chance of getting a Scourge. Jolt looks good tho. I’m pretty excited for him.

SS86 Scourge have opened left hand and closed right hand. SS86 Sweep, on the other hand, opposite.

 

Wait until you start seeing repacks in stores with two open hands lol...

 

I just don't get how folks are upset about the sweeps. If the sweeps are used for army building what is essentially a clone army and Scourge is hard to find, who cares that they are the same. Everyone can win. Buy 3 sweeps, 3 scourges, or mix and..

WAIT...Did someone say G2 Prime?  

 

If anything it shows how much a non-entity G1 Scourge is.

Generally the choice of one's words and how they're used can give way if they're joking or not.

I was joking in that they are calling him "the Sweeps" (cause you know plural) but I do think RID Scourge is completely better and fitting of the name.
With him just beating out Cybertron Scourge and both beating G1 by a mile.

 

I got 3 Scourges. I guess I can pass on the Sweeps.
