Yeah, sadly I’ve seen almost as many swaps that I personally brought to someone to say it shouldn’t be on the shelf, with an explanation as to why, BACK on the shelf within days, as I have swaps.

The situation and practice is abhorrent… but not gonna lie your “…he’ll become Galvatron eventually” crack made me chuckle.
