Oh man, all I need to finish my collection are Anime Guntank and Zeong and this gives me hope of a reissue. Ive resigned myself to the reissued model kit for Zeong, but the Guntank goes for $200 which is absurd for such a tiny figure.
haha I noticed that a couple of days ago! However, Im a sucker for the ultra-plain animation deco. This new one has extra painted details -maybe those are optional stickers? (and a large price tag for extras I wont use). There isnt as much of a difference in size or look between the original Robot Spirits and the model kit (especially when you compare $150-200 to $23 from BBTS). Wow, Epyon coming to this now too. Oof. Normal RD is just getting converted to MRD lol I wonder if they'll just make it option parts for those weapons/armaments that are from that manga run... like they are releasing in the MG models these days. Seems like the perfect vehicle to bring those things to the RD/ Metal-RD series from the MGs. Granted the wing zero seems to be a much bigger change so probably a separate release. Would love to see heavy arms with the Igel upgrade for example.

Pretty much par for the course. I've largely stopped collecting high-end Bandai lines as a result. These pre-order windows are impossible nowadays. If it's something that I really need, then there's a way better shot at getting it through a domestic site than any of the Japanese e-tailers. Gunpla aside from HGs seem to go just as fast nowadays, but due to their worldwide popularity, I'm generally able to just grab those locally through various hobby shops, at cost.
i can't imagine this won't be released state side right? Either via p-bandai or bluefin, right? I'm not after this one (i want epyon), but wing zero is widely popular enough for a normal release I would think.
It is a general release so I'm sure retailers like BBTS and the likes would carry me. I haven't seen any news about US Bluefin or US Bandai carrying it.
GP-03 delayed to the 21st on Amazon. Can't wait for it to come in. One of my top 5 most desired suits to be produced. Can't wait for the 08th MS Team line up. It is going to be epic and there is so much potential there!
