My Amazon Galvatrons also had the wrong shoulders.

 

All y’all people with the low shoulders don’t know how much I’d deck you in the street for one of those figures lol. (Well ok not that bad) I wasn’t even back into collecting when initial preorders of this guy started. Now the September drop estimation for the other online retailers is just taunting me.

 

NJ now reporting that galvatron was spotted in a Walmart.
He's made his way to another b&m chain.
Bad shoulders and all.
At least this will help people to find him.

I wish Hasbro would make some kind of statement concerning the shoulder issue.
Makes me wonder If they even know about it.
Maybe the plant in Vietnam saw the problem themselves and corrected the assembly line without passing word up the line.

 

This is going to sound like a bit of a stupid question but oh well. If I wasn’t around to get one of those preorders that are shipping now and I’m unlikely to find one in person, where the hell am I gonna get this guy lol? I’m wary to put in a preorder for a store getting them in September because I feel like they’re just not going to have enough stock and finally in like November they’ll tell me they’re cancelling my order.

 

Galvatron is just starting to arrive in brick & mortar stores.
Target 2-3 weeks ago.
Walmart just started getting there's in.
This is the last new leader till 2022.
Be patient.
Between now & xmas they should be plentiful.
You'll be able to find one there.
Waiting is actually good this time around.
Most online stores are getting the bad shoulder version.
Correct versions are currently 50/50 at b&m.
You'll find one.
Don't resort to ebay & scalper prices already.

 

Also, don’t forget that Kingdom Galvatron will be repacked next year like ER/Kingdom Arcee, ER/ Kingdom Optimus Prime, and Siege/ER Astrotrain.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate it. With my local Targets getting Galvatron and selling out within that day, it definitely had me feeling like this one wasn’t gonna be mine lol.

 

He is supposed to be repacked in the first wave of the next line (much like Earthrise Optimus was repacked for wave 1 of Kingdom). And he is in the last wave of Kingdom leaders, and so should continue to ship at least through the end of the year. He will appear eventually, probably when you have given up on him and are looking for something else.

In my years of tf collecting, I've noticed a pattern.
TF will appear new in-store for about 1-2 weeks.
Then vanish for about 3-4 weeks.
Then it start popping up again in larger quantities.
It's not a perfect pattern.
Doesn't always work.
TR misfire wave.
But it often does.
Hasbro dangles the prize.
Gets everyone to jump, search & panic as they poof from shelves.
Then they reappear.
Best advice is don't panic.

Needed to hear this, thanks man. I've never actually been into collecting when figures are brand new, I'm usually 2-3 years behind and end up getting the figures I want online since they've been long gone from stores. And when I was a kid collecting I never cared what was new, I just wanted what looked cool.

 

Or u can enjoy the toy and not bitch about something everyone else seems to enjoy

 

Well I got my online order from Target today and it has the lower shoulders.

 

Raise up his arms, spin them around so that the pin is facing forward and twist his arms around to face forward. Other than you have pins facing forward, the problem is solved. I bet someone will probably make purple fillers soon, too.

 

I'll probably do this. No one gets leaders instock close to me, so I can't even look for a correct verison. I'm not sure if it even bothers me tbh.

 

A friend of was over for lunch today, I was messing around with Galvatron, still working on the transformation (I did it, but still not sure what the trick was!) and he's a very science oriented guy... understands science and physics better than I ever will... he took a look at the interior sculpted details on Galvatron's torso and believes Hasbro was inspired by the Hadron collider.

He said, and I quote:

"it's not a logical touch if you're going to use a circular design. If they are making that claim simply to establish Galvy can blast 13 teraelectronvolts from his cannon, it makes sense."

Looks like another round of Galvatrons from Amazon is shipping out this week/next week.

Hope it’s an actual new batch with fixed shoulders and not just more of the same misassembled batch making its way through the warehouses.
