It\'s a shame they\'re using the cartoon model\'s \"eyes and nose\" look for Pipes. I much prefered the single visor that the toy had. It made him look badass in the orginal Japanese manga.

I was also hoping for visor Pipes, but he looks great overall.

I’m sure some enterprising 3P will make a set of Red Shades for him.  

 

Shadow Panther is looking promising and I'm very happy to finally see Pipes. For Tigatron I'll wait and see if he gets an orange Selects version, they've been really stingy with the BW beasts for that subline so far and I hope it changes soon.

Pipes looks almost perfect, seems to drop the "truck bed" parts that Huffer had for big exhaust "pipes". I just wish he had a "Metroplex transformation cog on a stick" that he could wield as a big club (I know First Aid was responsible for that in the show, bur we may not see him for a while). It will be interesting to see what Ratchet ends up being, since he seems to have the wrench from the Siege version. I could see them justifying a bigger mold for Ratchet to do a "big" ambulance with a proper sled/repair bay component. Maybe even leader size if needed.

It looks like Pipes overhead kibble is twisted 180° to Huffer\'s I wonder how they will pull that off. Or if its just a mistake in the artwork.

I too wish Pipes had his red shades but not the end of the world. 

Tigatron I\'m interested to see how close his toy will be to this as he literally looks like an upscaled Cheetor. 

Sadly those are the only 2 from this wave I\'ll be buying.

Gotta admit, one of the best written death scenes in transformers, at least IMO.

 

The number of people seeing Slammer as a retool but unable to agree as to what he's a retool of suggests to me he absolutely is a new mold. (I mean, that and the leaks who claim they've seen him and he appears all new)

Slightly shared engineering is a thing where figures aren't strictly speaking a retool of anything but share parts which are functionally identical or near identical.
