Do the designs look refined at all? Like alot of the characters in the Cybertron scene in BB had really wonky gorilla-like proportions and "dull stare" faces due to being last minute additions for reboot material. Do they lean towards looking just as good as Blitzwing?

 

He is somewhat similar to The Last Knight concept art. This version though is a lot darker with mainly grey and brown metal, altogether a much more rustic look.

Parts of him like his chest and shoulders have a organic gorilla skin texture.

He is not covered in hair instead he has subtle patches of hair on his shoulders and and arms.

 

It's interesting that they're going with partially organic/partially mechanical Beast designs. That makes me wonder if they'll look fully organic in an opening flashback, and they began to lose their organic 'shell' as they aged.

Also, did anyone ever figure out if they actually merged the two scripts (Beast Wars and Bumblebee sequel) into this movie? If this movie is going with the prehistoric angle, I would guess that the standalone Beast Wars film isn't happening for logistical/budget reasons. I always assumed they'd go with a modern-day Skull Island approach for the Beast Wars movie, but it seems like they're doing that with this movie. Surely they wouldn't do two modern-day Beast Wars movies...

Whatever the case, I'm warming up to the Beast aspect of this movie. I think I was initially thrown off because I wanted something more G1-focused. But then again, I'm always the guy saying Transformers should blend influences to make something new. I admittedly still think it's a bit sad that we'll seemingly never get a straightforward G1 movie, but I'm sure there will be enough G1 aspects here to scratch that itch. Even just a lot of G1 Optimus would go a long way towards that.

 

To be fair BW is kinda apart of G1 even though it’s a separate brand.

Sound's to me this movie will have G1 designs and the Bay style. Again.
Did you see artwork or final 3d models ? And compared to the G1 characters in BB film, are these new characters more creative? Or identical to what was shown in Travis Knights film?

I’ve heard people say Scourge has a “spinny claw hand” or whatever. What exactly does that mean? Like a circular saw type thing or more like Omega Supreme’s claw hand? Or something else?

 

No its not a saw, It was more like the claw you see on the cranes they use alongside car crushers but the prongs are longer and thinner.

Yes but Scourge's claw only has 4 prongs and they were longer/thinner looking.

Interesting. Gil Birmingham was in The Last Knight but as far as I know Avan Jogia has no previous involvement with the franchise. That being said, I'd love for Russell Crowe to be in the next movie.

 

I look forward to seeing Crowe as Dr Jekyll running Sector 7.

I found some more potential cast members. so here’s my guess to who they’re all going to play:

Nathan fillion: mirage

morena baccarin: nightbird

Sean Maher: cheetor or bumblebee

Avan jogia: same as above

Russel crow: rhinox

 

We only saw his vehicle mode which is a Porsche 911. Mirage was described as being anti authority, causing trouble with Optimus Prime and will have a strong relationship with the humans. They also implied that he will have more than one alt mode.

The Porsche is pretty much this with some minor differences from what i remember
