Well there have been fewer available factory opportunities. All products are behind due to Covid-19. Smaller companies like perfect effect have to compete to get their products made. They may just be waiting in line for their turn and will have something out soon. The other thing to factor in is we dont know how the virus may have effected designers or other parts of the operation. Some people may have had to go work somewhere else when things fell apart last year just to get by. Lots of people all over the world were out of work last year.

 

Yeah, I know the world is irrevocably changed.

Well even the Bootleg show Z and other stores had pre-orders for of it never came out. Something happened. That one was gonna have a maximal logo.

They had also knocked offed Perfect Effects Leo Convoy

You can see how they added the maximal logo. I was considering getting the Knock off just for the Logo, but their knock off gorria never came out to my knowledge.

I felt the same way Back during Beast Wars through the Armada 3 part saga waiting for G1 figures that looked like G1. I'd get one or two here and there, but they only started really making what I wanted in the last 10 years or so.

 

Yeah, definitely. There will probably be other options eventually. That transart figure is only about 9 inches tall (CHUG scale) so it wouldn't really pair well with anything I own :/

 

Yeah, but transart fucked their scale up. bwm used to men mp scale, but their 05 is no where near mp. Hence why I promptly cancled my pre order

 

I know the Perfect Effect figures are more stylized, but Beast Gorira still looks closer to the show's Optimal Optimus than Mega Doragon is to Dragon Megatron. If it was an oversized KO that scales with JX Winged Dragon, this would easily be my pick.

 

I keep hoping JX will do a Optimal.

I need to get my hands on this guy again. I loved this figure paticularly the Primal Prime repaint.

 

I found one in OG colors for a "reasonable" price ($240 shipped) and ordered it.

I really want a cool MP rep of this character and I don't see anything else on the Horizon (although, I'll get another if someone makes one!  )

 

This goes for $240?

Yeah, they go for $230+ new - you can easily get 200 for a used copy right now.

He's gunna look great on my prime shelf!

I'd like one but that price is too inflated. I can wait out the re-release, a KO, or another company doing something that scales with JX

 

I doubt a JX scaled Goria would be released. The mold strays too far from the animation. More likely an mp scaled version of TransArt's new opop will be released eventually

 

I'm not suggesting that This figure would be scaled up to JX but I don't think it crazy to think that an MP Optimal Optimus figure would eventually be made,

And I'm sorry but the TransArt does nothing for me. It just looks like a KO of the original Toy with minor improvements. Beast Gorira has the sculpting and presents of an MP, I'd need something on that level to stand next to JX's Megatron

 

Yeah that is the TransArt M.O. It works for tm primal and cheetor, but not as well for opop

 

too true, the TM Primal got a pretty nice upgrade with the sculpt and size. Just the neck and faces were enough to bump that figure up past KO to me. and Cheetor feels like a complete overhaul.

 

Wow, looking to sell my PE Gorira (I think it's a reissue?).
