Alright, I got him recently and immediately started giving him some minor touch-ups. Now he actually looks like he fit the price I paid him for!



Since he can't make his famous pointing pose due to his weirdly sculpted fingers, instead he could now do the "Come here!" pose, which kinda fits Bayverse prime pretty well.



If we're following ThreeZero's scale, this is actually pretty spot on! He scales very very well with TransCraft's Bee! This is one of the reason why I got him, all the other Optimus is just wayy to big for me personally.




And finally, the truck. The truck is eh~, its okay I guess. I don't hate it that much. My biggest problem with it is surprisingly not the cat ears, but the length. It feels wayy too long. I feel like if they could make it shorter I think it would've looked a lot better...

yeah but the truck also doesn't have giant robot shins or shoulders sticking out. and is a completely different make and model. i doubt its length was intentional lol

 

I think the length is intentional, but I think they messed up the make and model  . Mainly because the designer said he was trying to match the truck and robot mode. But I agree with your broad point of not nailing the truck mode.

Who knows? Maybe the new movie will have truck shins on the back  .

The truck mode, even if you ignore the ears....why in the world is the stripe white on the side and silver up front. Should be silver on the side too, or all white at least. Its jarring the way it is. Anyone corrected it to all silver yet? Either IRL or digibashed? ive already gkne over my dislike of the blue windsbields too...should be smoke or brownish smoked like on the box photos.

Still gonna get it qhen it releases here at target because its the only right sized bb optimus. And the robot mode is ery good despitw thw kibbly foreaems

I like the MPM's, but I do hope that they will someday be given the same budget as the G1/BW figures. Aside from some budget cuts on the figures, the presentation is also lacking IMO.

 

I dunno, personally I’d take some mild accuracy hits over a $100-$200 price increase for every figure. Depends on the person though I guess.
