Muldoon was the actual hunter, wore the hat and carried the gun. Dr. Grant spent most of the movie hatless and without a gun (finally got one at the end a little too late), but he was in the actual T-Rex break out scene. They could also be invoking the memory of the full out action hero Dr. Grant from the video games so who knows.

Something just dawned on me: that JP93 could be repurposed as either Armada RED ALERT, X-BRAWN or both. Just my .02.

Jurassic Park is a lot more iconic than Jurassic World and fits the retro appeal that the other collabs occupy where as Jurassic World is more current

How is the $10 upcharge dubious? Ectotron was $40 for a voyager (at least upon initial release), Gigawatt was $30 for a deluxe. It's an observable fact. It's also an observable fact that this is a 2 pack and it's got 2 licenses that needed to be acquired specifically for this set. Also to get the final price, notice I said to remove the license fee for the BW figure since there is nothing specifically Jurassic Park about it. They really could have just released that in regular Kingdom packaging if they had wanted. Back to the Future, X-Men and Ghostbusters were $10 because they were single figures, Topgun was a single figure but had double licensing (Top Gun and Lockheed) and Jurassic Park is a 2 pack with double licensing (Jurassic Park and Ford). You may not like it, but the prices do make sense when you factor in the licensing, new tooling for the figures that wouldn't otherwise be part of the mold sprues and other factors.

I'm seeing a lot of folks offering to sell off JP93 and keep Rexy.

Anyone in the Australasian part of the world, who is looking to unload JP93, please feel free to PM me.

Let's see if we can arrange something. :)

that’s pretty much what I figured. I haven’t watched any of the new jurassic world movies so I wasn’t sure if it would translate better for a collaborative set.

Honestly I'm struggling to think of any vehicles from the newer movies. The only newer collab they've done is the Afterlife version of Ectotron, but that was a 2nd release

I saw a custom someone did of the Kingdom core Rattrap into Razorbeast, so maybe that'd work. Rattrap is pretty close to a capybara in size anyway, so that's basically a small chimichanga to a T-rex.

So Rexy IS female with this figure? Nice!
That $105 price though is a big OOF. Especially since it\'s just a voyager and deluxe, so SHOULD be $30 but Hasbro are scalping their own product...
Then there\'s the exclusivity mark up AND the licensing...
That price is a real shame cos this is a Crossovers set i actually want...

    Those are good!

The T-Rex mold is a leader not a voyager and the Explorer looks to be closer to a voyager rather than a deluxe, so $52 plus $32 = $84 plus the $20 collab markup (typically $10 per figure roughly) and you get $104
