Oh, come on! Who doesn't want to go flying down a ramp at insane speeds, only to be stopped by a wall? It's fun, it's like Jackass: The Home Game!

(It really was a dumb design. Guess they were more or less just wingin' it at that point.)

O_O WOW. That's one of the cleanest repaint jobs I've seen in a while. Great job!

Most, if not all, 3rd parties have an in with Hasbro's internal numbers. A lot of them have connections to the factory workers and can get relevant info. Factory sellers such as Ton Ton can easily get them the info they need in a heartbeat. Plus the leaks on discord must have some kind of numbering info along the line. Point is, DNA can make a safe bet on what's going to be produced and what isn't and if they miss the mark on demand, they can produce another run and get the job done.

I got my 19 & 21 kits in. Pretty nice stuff all around. The rifle really is a crowd pleaser.

Was messing around with mine when I stumbled upon a fairly straightforward solution to that leftover gray shield piece (basically, it's similar to the positioning of the equivalent shield piece on G1 Scorponok):

After attaching the claw-shield bit to the underside of ER Scorpy's raised chest plate, you then fold up the second panel as well (the one that reveals the chest cavity underneath; it will fold up flush to Scorpy's chest plate with the claw-shield sandwiched in the middle).

You then take DNA's leftover gray shield piece, fold it in half and position it upright (it will stay in place via friction).

The only drawback is you sacrifice platform space on the base mode in order to gain extra parts storage.

(Sorry no pics on me; I'll post some later).

I am not entirely sold on #23 as a "must have".
    Not unsold either.

    Are those the longer legs?

I'm passing on those because they muck up his proportions too much for me. The guy already has elbows in his upper arms because of the big honking claws, and longer legs would just exacerbate how off that looks.

Need some advice. Which screwdriver did you use to install the scorpion legs? I need one skinny enough to fit into the holes. Please include a link to Amazon if possible so I can order it. Thank you.

Just wondering if anyone has had any success removing the green articulated scorpion legs and installing them on the original purple part instead of unscrewing it and installing the gray part

personally i wouldn't even bother with that shit. if you like the purple part so be it.

but new green piece holds the tail so much tighter than it did when it was stock. that is worth the swap out all by itself. so it is a win win in my books if you get articulated legs to boot.

Honestly, I wouldn't. Not only does the new grey part hold the tail better, the fact that it's grey makes his torso stand out better and highlights the nice proportions of his shoulders, chest, and waist.

Why would you take the greens swivelly leg pieces off the gray part and put it on the OEM purple piece? How would you do that?

Like lilcarus and Treadshot 2.0 said, the DNA piece has a much tighter connection for the tail's lower tabs even if the top connection isn't nearly as tight as on the OEM part so the backpack ends up being sturdier for it overall. I took a bit to rip the green leg ends out and put them on the DNA piece but it ended up looking better when it was all done.
