I must admit, this looks very nice.  The bad thing is, it is waaaay over-priced.  It should\'ve been $20 cheaper.  Anyone know if this is a one and done set, or are they expanding the JP x Transformers toys?

Maybe because Predacons as a faction weren't around in 93? It's the only reason I can think of

In the pic with both of them, it looks like he comes up higher on Rexy than Primal does with Megatron (granted Primal is a small voyager)

Ectotron only shares thighs and biceps, everything else is new tooling and engineering

Agreed but also what makes the name JP93 so ridiculous. JP is pretty much exactly short for Jeep which is most definitely not.

In what world? All of the collabs have been at least $10 over the standard MSRP for their price point and these are a Leader and a Voyager.

Not buying the mold again, I've been surprised how much I don't like it. But I have to say that is the best Deco/remold the T-Rex has had. *I have no connection to Beast Wars Megatron- if I know and loved the character it would probably make a difference.

Is this an Amazon exclusive sort of thing, or is this gonna be in-store as well?

Some people are, for whatever reason, actively ignoring how much more paint these exclusives have than most normal retail releases, along with other things like limited stock and packaging.

I love this so much. JP is still my favorite movie of all time so this is absolutely pandering to my interests...this set is spendy by I'm definitely sparing no expense!

I\'m glad I don\'t get hung up on what they name these things. They\'re silly but who cares? Call them whatever you want.

I\'m a bit baffled by so many people saying JP93 is a pretool for Skids...I get there\'s some design cues, and I suppose they could do some insane remolding to give it a different car mode, but this is clearly bigger than a deluxe and since some semblance of robot mode scale in the main line is something HasTak has set forth to establish, it makes no sense for Skids to be taller than the other carbots. I could definitely see Armada Red Alert from it though, with plenty of remolding.

Not mine, but figured I'd post it anyway:

So much for it being a brand new mold and/or a pretool for Generations 2022 Skids.

It'll be online exclusive, on Amazon for now and Pulse in December.

That Prowl isn't as large as this figure appears to be, though.

Ectotron had a jumpsuit, Maverik had his head be a flight helmet, and Gigawatt had Doc's goggles. They all take some cues from their properties main human characters. It's fine.

Honestly the thing I don't like is that they've decided to give these JP figures specific factions. I kinda liked the head canon that all these collabs were factionless refugees of the Great War that took on these alt-modes to blend in and integrate themselves in human culture, somewhat akin to the Rescuebots.

The thighs do look awfully similar; not convinced they're the same, but it's hard to be sure with the tiny photos.

OK, that is a much better reuse of the Kingdom Beast Megatron mold than T-Wrecks. I kinda want it, but it's rather pricey.

I've been getting that sense since 1986.

But yes, this is particularly bad.

Well, if it weren't already obvious, this makes clear how much more boring it'll be than the (admittedly flawed) T30 figure. Definite pass...

Huh. I don't know if that'd make things better or worse. I mean, it's a more interesting character choice than Skids, but they've basically made it boring. I mean, I guess it could indicate Armada's still happening next year, but I wouldn't put it past them to be using a Gen Aramda mold for this crossover, even while pushing the actual Aramda characters back.

Muldoonus vs Jurassitron is dope. Looks better than everything we've seen so far for the Beast Wars movie.
