Yeah well, there's a reason why a lot of people flock to 3Ps. It's getting expensive over there too, but the feel is better (because of more diecast), and the paint (no comparison).

 

diecast is cheap attraction as it tends to create illusion of premium when it applies to places without logic to it.
Paint is different story, true.
Tak has its charm in sculpting these characters , 3P has its own charm that cater to specific audience.

 

Mine was shipped yesterday early morning. Heck my order never had any status updates until the end.

As if it's worth $275, I'm not sure. If it was the only option I'd pay that, yes. Luckily it is not.

You can order(or at least could’ve) from places like Amiami or other Japanese retailers and gotten it shipped here via DHL for a combined price of less than $230-240. You have the option not to pay $275.

Does the crack widen when the stabilizer is swiveled for transformation? I was hoping it was just a seam/gap. If it doesn’t widen or crack further when the stabilizer is swiveled that’s good news. Issue is that there seems to be a rivet inserted from underneath, through there to connect the stabilizer, so it might be tricky to take apart. If the stabilizer connection to it is painted and if there’s a lot of resistance, it could be increased tolerances due to dried paint.

 

Amiami does not have the figure in stock, so it's useless in a discussion about buying the figure right now. Do you have any links to any sites that have it in stock? Also, what is the aftersales service like at these stores? Are they good for replacing parts?

 

I wasn’t aware it was out of stock. Preorder prices for places like amiami when the preorders went live were $190+ before shipping.

AmiAmi used to be very difficult to get aftersales service from but recently they’ve gotten better at it. HLJ has been good with aftersales service.
