I saw that as a start. I want Hasbro to go forwards, not backwards, ( and I do kind of like what Takara did with those figures. Would have liked them to have done more, though) .

Please tell me how Megatronia being released in 2017 shows that Takara “goes the extra mile when it comes to their own separate approach to fembots.”

With access to the Kingdom beast molds now and being able to work out a deal with Mattel for Jurassic Park, I wonder if it's possible for a Kingdom Tigatron into Battle Cat Collab. That would be pretty sweet.

That was one of the earlier ones. But Takara does do extensive remolding with their figures. They probably could have got away with making MP Road Rage a straight redeco of MP Tracks, but they added subtle remolding to differentiate her gender from Tracks's.

Before brand unification, Hasbro's approach to Selects was headslap, redeco and maybe some new accessories and job done. Takara tended to go for full-blown remolding. Like how they gave a female selects Seacon her own distinct body instead of doing a straight redeco of a male figure from another version of the Seacons.

Sorry I my mistake I'm getting timelines (and probably exclusive line names) mixed up (half asleep ) . Basically Takara and Hasbro generally have their distinct approach to Selects, exclusives, etc, as I described earlier (headswap (maybe), redeco plus accessories/addons vs extensive body remolding ) . My point is that even with relatively obscure female characters, Takara seem to be more aware of them as being female,. Think the original female Scylla who was a redeco of male Tentakil. Except when Takara revisited those characters as toys in recent years , Scylla got her own distinctly female body. That's a trend i prefer to see continue.

Should we wait for retool of Kingdom Megatron or Kingdom Dinobot or both of them?

It's Megatron. Dinobot wouldn't fit the scale of what they're going for with the two pack.

That would be badass. So hopefully Mattel likes what they see from this and works with Hasbro again.

Especially since a Voyager Tigatron might be big enough for a few of the He Man figures (He Men, Hes Man?) to ride.

Anyone else hopeful that the packaging might mimic the old Kenner packaging?

I doubt it… it would be really cool, but I don’t see Mattel leading one of their OWN IP (as opposed to a licensed IP) to Hasbro. Nor do I see Hasbro wanting to use a competitor’s IP… Stranger things have happened though…

Possibly that. But it may also be boxed up similar to this, but in a window.

A Generations Selects Catilla would be a pretty nice retool also.

Stranger things have happened, and not to mention, Mattel does seem to be going "full-bore" on their reintroduction of the Masters of the Universe property into the mainstream. Might not be such a bad idea to generate even more interest in both brands.

And it's not like Hasbro has anything that really competes with He-Man, nor does Mattel have anything that competes with Transformers. So using a He-Man Transformer to generate cross interest in both brands may be enticing.

And given there are two cats in He-Man, they could potentially have repaint potential in any mold work they do. Or just sell it as a two-pack now that JP has opened the door to that.

I'd love a Transformers and Masters of the Universe crossover. A Tigatron in Battle Cat colors and with extra armor for the beast mode would be sick, and it would easily be redecoed as Panthor as well. Not the biggest MOTU fan, but I enjoy it well enough and it would just be a fun crossover.

Add that to the list of Collaborative figures I'd like to see. Though it's much farther down than the Mad Max Interceptor for me.

I think instead if putting these collab figures with my main collection, like Gigawatt and X-Spanse, or having them be standalone, like Ectotron, I think these guys will go really well with my beast Era Dinobots
