I've been reading some comments by the official DS weibo, although the built in translations kinda suck.

• There is still no plan for a box set
• As long as companies like BMB won't make a KO of these, the set will be finished.

 

And the devil saviour said that these guys would be launch soon.

Rampage looks like they took most of the design of the SS version, improved it, and added a bit from the RotF version (the folding blade). Not bad. Might pick this one up.

If I were to make an educated guess, I'd assume they updated some of the paint detailing and this is just showing the difference in the details.

 

I think it’s to show that paint on each figure differs ever so slightly because it’s all applied by hand…
I base that on absolutely nothing but I think it makes sense.
Although all the images on the left do look better painted so it most likely is to show how they’ve improved it.

 

The pictures on the left said 旧 which means old
The one of the right is 新 which means new/true

Maybe some one painted himself his devil saviour and is showing the results

 

Or he/she cleaned off all the grime-y wash, but left the paint. Lots of figures have been shipping with a wash on them to make them look dirty. The Bumblebee movie Blitzwing from BMB is the best/worst example I've seen in person. It looks good, but it can be uneven, it smells and gets all over your hands.

EDIT: I'm not so sure of that looking back at the pictures. Unless they also updated the rust speckles, they don't look like the same figures in the old and new photos.

Wow! Painted Sweeping looks amazing!

The improved Landslip looks good as well.

 

Yeah, but part of me wouldve preferred a Rampage color. Does anyone know if we'll get an orange version someday?

 

Still fascinating to see how rampage is basically the SS figure just suped up, and now they’ve changed landslip to closer resemble Hasbro’s .

 

Do we have any info on expected release dates for these last 2 team members? The new photos are an encouraging sign.

 

Are they saying Landslip is coming with 5cm figures of the twins? That is amazeballs if that’s the case!!  

 

Painted Sweeping indeed looks nice! Since we now have a new color image of Sweeping and Landslip is or has been getting a design overhaul, perhaps we're getting Troublemaker's second leg first after all...?☺️
