My thought as someone who isn't a fan of the Bayformer movies is that these are nonetheless some of the best engineering in a voyager toy I've seen. I'm curious how much articulation they have. Great imaginings.
Picking both up. Jolt looks fantastic to me and I don’t get people saying the dotm one is better. The dotm jolt in my opinion was a fiddly tip Toey mess. Rotf ss looks way better than dotm especially the head. Hasbro taking another reveal L. Buncha flogs.
They’re in the exact same place they are in the DotM version, recessed. You can see them in his toes in robot mode.
Sideswipe is just the previous release with a roof. Good for the people who didn't manage to get their hands on the DOTM version, but it's a likely skip for me (having just gotten the DOTM version from that weird case repack recently). Jolt, meanwhile, looks nothing like any of the recent car bots and I'm all for that. Worried for the longevity on that hinged clear plastic backpack, though...
The colors on ROTF Sideswipe look a lot better, but I have more of attachment to the DOTM version, which I unfortunately don't have. Considering the aftermarket prices for the DOTM vers though... if ROTF still has the pistols I can accept this version instead. Do we know if the backpack collapses further? Lot of junk poking out the bottom and sides in that one photo. huh, so that is the correct head. Mind if I ask where that image came from? I've never seen it before. Not gonna lie though, I think I prefer the fan made headsculpt. Overall Jolt seems real kibbly, but the kibble is for the most part accurate. Can't tell if I like him or not. He laments his lack of screentime.
i dont remember exactly but it was a very old tread somewhere here in tfw2005, i think it was about extra features of some release of the rotf movie, or a photo or screencapture of the models used but, i dont know how people dont seem to believe is real here, look at this is that an smooth dome? i dont think so, also, no, there isn't any higher resolution of that front facing jolt since thats on the very background in the movie, maybe someone with the ultra 4k edition can get an screenshot of his scenes but the details match 100% with that grey cgi, and it matches with the new head, which is official by hasbro, so i ask why do people still think the fan art is the real one?, specially when there is so much proof its not
