I transformed dead end today. And one of the elbow joints is frozen. Consequently, the car won't tab together fully because I can't get the arm fully straight.

I got brave and decided to soak in boiling water for a few seconds. Now it's moving. I just hope the pins don't rust.

I had the exact same issue. Very frustrating and after I worked on it for a little bit, I started getting nervous and just gave up.

Use silicon oil! That's how I fixed my Deadend and all the stuck joints of my toys.

I've noticed it is a must have with harder plastic and ball joints, everything just moves better

Same issue on mine. He's in semi-permanent combined mode now so hopefully it doesn't get any worse.

Lube it up folks, when in doubt lube it out. RC shock oil to be precise.

Luckily, dunking the arm in hot water for about15-20 seconds worked. I was able to move it, and after rotating a few times, it now rotates easily. Hours later, it still moves freely.

As for oil, you guys do what you think is best. But I am NOT putting oil on my figures. It's bad enough Fanstoys figures are all greasy out of the box. I am not doing it to more of my toys. (At least not these kind of toys)

This stuff is safe to use on plastics, silicon shock oil. I’ve used the same bottle since 2015. Use it sparingly, clean up any excess with a cotton swab/paper towel and you’re good to go. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0006N6S6G/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_273EZ2D75VK06P5EGMQB

    Backfill piece from @NOCV

Fantastic piece pal, fills that Motormaster shaped hole in Menasor perfectly.

Heh, you just need like a single drop of silicone shock oil in the joint! Its not gonna leave your figure greasy, and its certainly a lot safer than dipping your figure in hot water and trying to force it. It truly works wonders and there's really no reason to stay away from it.

I'm going to have to try the boiling water for the seized elbow on the first set. Shock oil did nothing.
