Who said anything about Matrix number 2 ending up in the goodguy's hands? Shockwave's still after the thing after all...
(Some easy listening music to the rest of this update) Now that we're at the end of this season, I'd like to thank you all again. When I started this project, admittedly, the initial plan was not as elaborate as it ended up being. My initial co-author Megatronski had only a few loose events planned out, including the events that would one day become the Siege of Acadeimos as a Season 1 Finale. The fact that I was able to take such a basic framework and expand on it as much as I had while wrapping up several plotlines in the process is no doubt the result of the efforts of everyone who I worked with to make such a thing reality. And the fact that all of you stuck around for it, or at least binged it to this point, is also commendable. I've had my own periods of time where I've doubted the effort I've put into this would've been worth it, but I kept going in spite of this. But here we are now, at the end of a metaphorical "Year 1" which took about four years to create (webcomic time, amirite?) and now I'm presented with an opportunity to rest. So, what's next? Well, dear reader, that's a good question. During production of Season 2, I was told by a dear friend that certain aspects of the comic were holding me back, so I decided to lighten my burden by sidelining a few issues (and in the case of one, scavenging it for plotlines that ended up in the Siege series) and pushing forward with more relevant plotlines. During the time I'll be taking a break, I will sporadically post at least two of these issues, giving a view of what might've been. As for now, however, I need time to recover from this season, and I doubt I can set up anything more beyond a base premise right now because future me will hate current me for it- Spoiler: TRANSMISSION INTERRUPTION -though knowing what they can do, I doubt I... huh. For some reason I cannot recall the purpose behind this paragraph. Ah well. See you all around, guys.
