After being pretty bummed thinking I missed out on him, while ordering something else from TFS Express the other day I noticed the FT-46 item was up at the top of the side pane so I clicked on it while it was available and I really thought it was some kind of mistake but then saw the dinobots and huffer so I jumped on it and preordered both preceptor and huffer. I know the shipping seems to vary depending on the bot so I'm hoping it's not ridiculous but I'm pretty sure the total will be no more than the other better priced stores, at least my experience with them anyway. I ordered two XTB G2 stunticons and they ended up with $21 shipping which is $30 cheaper than anywhere else. The tracking number I was given for their cheapest shipping ends up being FedEx and gets to me in Arizona within 2 weeks so that was a surprise for being the cheap shipping.

Just speculating, I think the shipping for FT-46 will be $39 on the economy shipping based on the size of the bot/box because that seem to be what they charge for purchasing any typical 9"-10" bot in the average size box for them. To my area anyway. I'm happy regardless!

 

Jeez, just found out this went PO and couldn't nab one. It's getting sickening. First the bugs, then Chomp, now this. Rant done, thanks for reading

 

I know what you mean! I think it's pure luck I got to preorder only assuming it was from people switching theirs around causing some to free up. The bugs are still available and I can't say anything for chomp cuz I'm not interested so I haven't paid attention to him.

Have you ordered from ShowZ in China before? I don't know their costs to the Netherlands or Europe in general, but keep an eye out for their fans toys pre-orders. Maybe better than shipping from the US.

 

80% of my collection came from Show.Z, I love that website. I already have a Perceptor on preorder there, but a buddy of mine is on the prowl for one of his own, so I am keeping an eye out.

And yes, shipping from China to Europe is faster and cheaper than from the US. I use US based stores only as a last resort.  

 

Ok, good. That's right, their tesla 2.0 has been sold out for a while because they listed it a while ago. Hope you can find one for your friend. Maybe if you check robotkingdom.

I noticed that when you search Fanstoys there's no preorder for Tesla that comes up, but they did have one if you search Tesla. It went up a while back and had a low quantity which isn't like Bombusbee these days so I would suggest keeping an eye on their store to see if they add more. I dont know how or why they get so many Fanstoys releases so I think there's a good chance they'll have more.

 

I wish I new Bombusbee's final price for Tesla. I have a pre-order there and TFS-Express until I know which is cheaper.

 

Ahhh I can't believe I missed the announcement for this and thus the preorders. I've checked most of the places I usually order from with no luck.. What are the chances they'll do a second run? This figure has been a long term want for me ever since I got into MP collecting. Burns that I missed this.. OTL

 

A reissue could take years. However, there will be units from this run up for purchase. Typically stores put canceled POs + a little more stock up once the product arrives.

I'm betting ShowZ will get some in around release time just like with the Bugs and Quietus so i'm fairly positive you'll have your chance to get one. Don't give up hope yet!

 

My hopes got answered far quicker than I was expecting! I had a board member and a Toy Dojo rep get in touch with me almost back to back. Toy Dojo has cleared their waitlist and were able to take an order for me! I'm not sure how many extra copies they have left for pre-orders at this point, though. I checked their site listing out of curiosity and it still shows Tesla as sold out, so for anyone else looking for this guy, reach out to them via e-mail!
