My first G1 purchases in quite some time, a lot of minty Minibots and Throttlebots. Super stoked to add these to the collection.

Could Hastak even have those molds? They were borrowed from another toyline like Jetfire was so I doubt Hastak would have them.

Regional price variations: Japanese ebay auction...

    German auction...

The German ones should be with me in a week or so! Cannot wait.

I'm pretty sure there are a lot more of these sets in Japan than Germany.

No updates for days? Sometimes I doubt your commitment to SparkDash Motion.

Some of the most confusing English / Japanese language name swapping with these guys, as they take two of the Sparkabots names (I prefer the original Sparkle Minibots name).

Note the Japanese only animation used the Western colour models.

    D-321 Javil

Sadly Sizzle is identical to his Western counterpart Flamefeather, Javil however is a much brighter red than Sparkstalkers purple might appear at first glance and is very striking in hand. Guzzle has a very different colourway to Cindersaur.

Following on from yesterday's Sparkdash post, here are the Heroic Sparkdash. I always like that these shared their type name across the factions.

    C-313 HardSpark

    C-314 HotSpark

    C-315 WildSpark

Again, the blue one is largely unchanged from the Western release, but this one does at least have different face paint to the Hasbro version. Notice the dust on the figure? It's not dust so much as a very fine layer of disintegrated flint which has broken down over 30 years. I've noticed the same thing happen with Sparkabots sat on my display shelves for years, when I pick them up there is a small pile of dust underneath them.

Once again, absolutely lovely packaging on these guys. Over the years I've come to much prefer small boxes over carded releases.

So i have reached the last 3 of my USA g1 most of what have been completed in classics toys over the years now i plan to get goldbug to finish my trottlebots mostly because i have all the others in g1, but is it worth getting sureshot and pointblank as g1 toys to finish off this collection

Sounds like it's worth getting a Goldbug to finish a Throttlebots collection. Are you talking about getting Sureshot and Pointblank to finish off a modern Generations style display? They're excellent toys, but I'd hold out for modern updates personally. I don't mix modern with vintage but that's just my personal preference. I collect both, but wouldn't mix them on shelves. Other opinions may vary.

Well I'm already using stand ins so I suppose waiting wouldn't be to bad, it's just annoying being at the finish line and waiting to take those last two steps

Pretty big update to the collection! Added Predaking, Bruticus, and Defensor gift sets!

Ive included an up to date photo of my combiners collection. Everything from Devastator to King Poseidon is all original. Liokaiser and Raiden sets are the original figures but with reproduction boxes.

Unfortunately, I’m down to just the really expensive combiner sets to track down. Those will probably require me saving up my rainy day money for a while.

Hotspark looks really nice. I’m super partial to ‘western’ Sizzle too.

    That’s gorgeous!

Love it. And that approach too. I really enjoyed the Tom Scioli comics for the same reason.

Defensive just looks super nice in combined mode. I’d go as far to say as other than maybe rail racer, there’s not been a nicer looking combined bot mode till this day? <\Bold opinion>

I’m loving these pics! And as an lover of the memorabilia, I’ve never seen those two colouring books and the thing with ravage and op on the front! They’re gorgeous! The op/ravage one looks a bit like it could be Earl Norem art wise? Is there any other interior painted/colour art? And if you happen to have them out again at some point and it’s not a pain, I’d love to see a straight on photo/scan. Great stuff.

Pic was taken over two years ago. Arm poses are based on the Decoy figures.

Triggerbots. Managed to upgrade my Override and Backstreet a few years back, could do with a slightly better Dogfight. Always felt it was a shame there were zero repaints of these guys.
