Finalising some very different customs today: guns for BlueBluestreak & Jazz, and a Sylvanian Families house I bought on a whim to go with a family of Black cats that I couldn't resist. Hopefully it's not the start of another collection...  

Also, managed to move my second jab forward by about two weeks to earlier today, so my defences should be fully bolstered once that kicks in. Huzzah!

Yeah, seeing that comparison shot I didn't realise how much bigger their Arcee was than the PRiD one... is that the same size as the actual FE Arcee?! I ended up with two PriD Arcees due to the first one breaking her head prong - actually one of the first 'modern' TFs I ever bought during a brief period when I saw Predaking and his robo dragony goodness in a toy shop and then saw there were female Transformers now, even though this was many years before I would watch TFP - but the upside is I have two of her arm blades and her comically huge cannon guns.
To be honest, having got the Legion class Flamewar I'd love to be able to snag a Legion Arcee to use as a more to scale altmode Arcee with the other Autobots due to the large amount of mass-shifting in that show  

And yeah, a Flamewar release would probably get me. Would also be cool to have them be different molds   I actually checked TFW after my post and saw it was a con deco. Then looking on ebay and YEESH! Yeah, no. Short of getting very lucky with a friendly forumite like I did with Slipstream and Airrazor I don't see me ever owning her

Good news! Thanks to suggestions here and watching the relevent part of that Emgo video I have repaired DD's knee! I found a set of precision screwdrivers I got free with PC Gamer many moons ago and thus was able to unscrew the boot and then using a tip from Emgo I used a screwdriver through the hole of the knee joint for some much needed finger sparing extra grip on said joint to pop it back in

A little Sunday custom project. I was inspired by the T-beast transformers to do my own version. I wanted to use the pink OSKO Slash to make an Arcee. I've only done the first lot of painting, so need to add more detail. I want to use it to try dry brushing too. I wanted to use the colour scheme from the first edition Prime pink Arcee, because I thought motorbike & raptor alt modes were similar. But I messed up and forgot her whole head wasn't silver, just the face & accents. So I'll look into sorting that out too. @Ottertron feel better, at least you're better than this!

 

Completely unexpected delivery on a Sunday for Masterpiece Starscream ... no, no that one, Movie Masterpiece Starscream  

I've watched plenty of videos so knew what to expect going in---semi-messy alt mode and potentially problematic robot mode. In hand, it's substantially better than I ever expected.

Transformation was intuitive enough that I did it without instructions and referring to the pic on the packaging over where some wing parts end up. The legs, whilst having CHONKY ratchets were initially a tad unstable until I noticed that he's got 3 proper locking points [one for each knee and two on each foot]. You're not meant to chicken leg him on the upper ratchet, if that makes any sense.

Detail is great, parts count is great, articulation is decent for his size and balance [he is missing proper arm swivels but other than that he's fab].

Not sure what else you'd want or expect from an MPM Starscream; this blows the 2010 "masterpiece" version out of the water and that's quite an accomplishment as it's still a fun figure. Could it slim down in jet mode far better? Probably yes, Studio version has done it better, but that's just a minor fuss, and this is coming from a dedicated Macross collector!

Shout out to @Red leader ; I only ordered this on a whim on Friday on my lunch break and it got here on Sunday. You guys probably get inundated with people making a fuss about hasbro distribution etc but I thought I'd add to your "good egg" list for the month!

Which reminded me that when I got out this religious nutter to get TF biblical I spotted the rather wan stock paint on his cab, and made a note to give it some proper orange.

Okay, it's now way more vivid than the plastic now but I'll take that over the semi-see-thru bits of the OG app!
Now these lads can air a bit for some decent curing before they go back in their boxes.

Went a bit over the top with the dry brushing,...but figured it will wear down as I transform it. As will the paint probably. All in all: my first custom painted transformer. I'm pretty happy with it and looking forward to my next one  

 

OOF! That deco on the Earth Mode to boot is *right* in my Sweet Spot!

 

Dammit Hasbro! Just give us a Buzzsaw! He has all his OTHER classic minions, but not his OG partner!

 

My MP-10 has been suffering from loose hips so finally opened up his thighs to see the damage. The hip friction joint is totally off, the peg holding the screw has separated frol the main bit and well, is essentially only held together by the surrounding thigh bit.

Unsure how i should proceed on a fix. Main ideas would be trying something with a longer screw that i dont have or glue.

Reorganised my deskbots, well display-cabinet-next-to-my-desk-bots, powermaster prime sure is more of a brick than I remembered..oh, and overlord was too tall, had to make him sit to fit on the shelf.

I did sub ages ago but I only ever got the one set, and I think it was a cover gift... Maybe they had a bunch leftover from the subbing? Or the sub gift was leftover? Depends which was fist really
