@Rockdown, where'd you order from? I'd have thought AJP would be quickest to deliver here, and at least two of us are still awaiting shipment...

To think that my MP-52 copy's arrival is only a night's sleep away

I don't even think I'm gonna sleep considering how excited I am for this figure, I'm like a lil turbo revving young pipsqueak waiting for Christmas day this point!

I'll have my bro @Dunkle give a review in this thread tomorrow before we'll both post nothing but shitposts for our in-hand images

Can't wait for MP-52+SW to post stair related shenanigans and tomfoolery next year

I admit I was a little worried when I ordered (and paid in advance) for Star cream, Skywarp and Thundercracker without any real knowledge of how this mold would turn out.

But this guy is getting better with every picture/video. Every MP has it's masterpiece moment and a big glaring masterpiece error. Right now I'm thinking Cream's MP moment might be the wings, but I can't see anything I would change.

At this point he's easily on track to take the "BEST MP EVA!" title.

Though I don’t think there’s much risk for breakage, the first transform for me was a little harrowing! Much better the second time when you’re aware of how the sometimes hidden joints move. I’d recommend people take it slow the first time.

The nosecone seems like it’s only meant to rotate 90° one way, but mine was incredibly tight, which had me doubting the direction. You can’t see the rotation joint at all here, so there’s no telling how well it’s holding up, but it seems strong.

Also, when you open the cockpit there’s a grey piece attached. It’s not meant to swing down and will unclip if you try. The clip is quite small though and could stress if you’ve tugged a bit hard.

The end result is a really stable robot mode. The feeling of satisfaction locking in his chest and wings, after years of slipping and falling back respectively on MP-11, was wonderful! And also being able to move his arms without swinging up his chest. It’s really night and day, a vast improvement.

I know, seems unfair. Maybe they're making up for the cock-up with my MP-44?

MP 52 and MP 36 really need one another. Can't wait for MP Soundwave 2.0!
Hope the deformation space 001 releases soon. It's gonna be MP 44 and TE 01 again.

I got this guy yesterday and had the experience of the panel popping out of the clip. It stressed and cracked at one place. Luckily it was an easy fix but be very mindful. Position the panels first and then slide the cockpit down. If the panels are in the wrong place the metal pins will be forced out of the clips which may result in breakages.

Now for the good part... He is awesome. Both altmode and robotmode are nigh on perfect and the transformation is pretty intuitive once you get the hang of it. Dit they use powdercoating on him? Because the paint is really really solid on all surfaces.

I don't think anyone will be disappointed with him. Only if you absolutely need a waist swivel. The wide range on movement on the head, shoulders and the ab crunch make up for that imo. DSC_7421.JPG DSC_7431.JPG

I'll be honest, I thought 52 was gonna make 11 look "bad", but it doesn't. In a weird way it gives 11 its own look and feel like 10 compared to 44. I wasn't expecting to like the two equally. With the 3/11 molds being the age that they are, it's easy to overlook their shortcomings.

We now have 3 official MP Starscream molds; choices. And they're different enough to pick one or all.

...oh, sorry Meteor, didn't see you standing there. Still looks great. You had a good run Bro, but it's over; Sunsurged. Great stunt double though; 52 even lets him do some of his wide shots!

if anything as someone who only has one mp-03 mold and skipped out entirely on mp-11, seeing the comparison pictures makes me more and more compelled by mp-11.

I've never been one to buy into a single iteration for my character as the "definitive" version these are different toys and are all really cool in their own way.

EDIT: also add me to the list of ohio stationed dhl starscreams, i'm so excited
