I might be too late to the party, but if anyone has a line in a red gaudentor (swoop) I’d appreciate it. I feel like I wouldn’t really lose a lot if I had to get the blue but for some reason I can’t get that red one out of my mind. In other news I Just got my grassor a week ago and I’m thoroughly Impressed with it, just ordered a guttur and can’t wait

 

I think your best bet would be getting blue and painting it red. Honestly it should not be hard for them to paint some of the batch red when they get to gaudenter but if they choose to stick to a single track with manufacturing, it's not hard to change the color.

 

At that point I’d probably just settle in the blue one and get over it

Yeah I’ve got two of the original MP Grimlocks, but I definitely have the Gigapower version pre-ordered through Show.Z. I honestly think I may end up with two of each eventually, possibly ones with a different finish. I’d love to have them posed in both modes.

 

Agreed. The giga dinos are the only figures I have 2 of for both modes.

 

I won't be going that far, but I can understand the attraction. When I've finished I'll have a mixed team of metallic and chrome actually but just one character of each. (Gigasaurs, I mean.) My Slag is metallic as will be the red Swoop*. The rest are upcoming Chrome pre-orders.


*I am kinda tempted by the chrome blue guy too.

 

Guttur is no longer listed as [in coming] on ShowZ so let's hope they get the big boy out the door soon.

I just checked and their shipping for Guttur is now either:

• Economic Large Package Shipping - Free to the US
• Express shipping - $21 to the US

I haven't shopped with Show.Z before, but is the Free option above the same as SAL/the-dangerous-sword-will-cause-the-package-to-be-sent-back option?

 

Considering the free shipping delivery time is apparently 15-25 days i'd say it has nothing to do with SAL.

 

It was originally the SAL but I believe they are choosing a different method for problematic packages (i.e these with swords, like these, etc) at the moment.

Feel free to message them to confirm this, though.

 

Someone wrote in the Superitron thread that they finally got theirs reshipped and ShowZ used Yun Express! They're the ones getting my orders to me in a week! That is amazing timing!

 

All i'm hoping is that ShowZ actually ships the two orders of mine that just came into stock (Guttur and Gewalt). My previous two orders (Yes Model Stubbom Buffett and YM Data Clerk) didn't actually ship for three weeks after I bought them.  

So here's hoping we all get our Gutturs and everything else we ordered on time!

 

No Guttur shipping notice today.

But I did check my Data clerk/Stubborn Buffet as I recall that taking forever to ship. Ordered 4/22 when they were already in-stock but didn't get a tracking number until 4/28 which was 4 days later. However the package wasn't picked up until 5/5. And the other picked up on 5/7. Huh? That was weird. But it did seem odd to take a couple weeks to ship something in-stock. I guess they have new stuff coming in stock all the time and it just takes a while. Still much cheaper than the US retailers so I'm happy enough. I guess if they had a huge shipping crew then we'd be paying more overhead and higher prices. You kind of wonder if there are other workers or if Kelsi and David are just aliases to make it look bigger than a one man show.

 

This is how they resent my Superion. I have no idea what Yun Express is.  

 

Thanks for the ShowZ in-stock status update guys, I went and paid mine off.  

 

Just a much better and faster shipping service and it seems to make a difference all the way through the U.S. side as well. I placed another order a few days ago that was shipped with them and it was already dispatched to the U.S. so I expect tracking to update in the morning that it's in L.A. then another couple days til it's at my door.

 

I used the Show.Z inventory trick and found out that they only had two Gutturs left in stock, so I jumped and got him. Wallet is going to be hurting with Starscream, Grassor and Guttur all hitting this month, but because it was my first Show.Z purchase I got to use a coupon, plus it was $10 cheaper than Terry's, which is my go-to international site, so that's how I'm justifying it.  

He's beautiful though... (all the GP Dinos are), and Snarl was my only original G1 Dinobot as a kid, (got G2 Grimlock and Slag), so I'm happy.
