There's always a way for it to work. I would fully expect someone like Dr. Wu or Shockwave's Lab to come out with something once they've got the figure in hand to get the measurements they'd need.

I love that Skyspy can store in Mainframes chest. This looks much more solid and the transformation looks good now we have finally seen it happen. I really cant wait.

I own this and I temporarily forgot about it! Tbf, it's way under the bed and has a small rip in it so I've been afraid to mess with it. Plus, I'm just just not really a bayverse guy. As much as I love dinobots, I haven't really messed with the set in a few years.

The Kingdom Ark looks cool, but I really, really wish they would've included a base mode of some type. Even a commander-sized modulator that only rearranged into a base would've been more exciting to me. The Ark is an iconic BASE, after all. Also, space for Titans is starting to become an issue, so a giant orange robot isn't helping anything.

Yes, I like that. I didn’t realise just how far inside the Ark that Teletraan 1 (in bridge mode) actually stored.

I think my only criticism would be the lack of swivelable guns. I don’t mind Titans without handguns (built in guns makes more sense to me with bots that size) but those cannons should move. I appreciate that’s not really what he is about though.

When and where will we expect to see the Ark? I’ve had it on pre order at tfsource but will not hesitate to cancel buy in person.

Apologies if this has been discussed.

    Pulse has it as September

    Some UK sites say July

    Others say October

It seems to have hit Asia but as per theres never a solid date they just turn up when they turn up.

Assuming you're in the US, there's a fair chance it won't show up at physical retail at all. ER Scorponok was at some Target locations, but other than that, Titans haven't really had a retail presence since Trypticon.

That’s what I’m worried about too. Well, “worried” as it’s not like I’ll never get a chance. If they didn’t murder Toys R Us we would see them in stores

I'm having trouble trying to justify buying this thing. I think I really just want the disks and Teletran1. And the rocket boosters. Just detach those and give them to me. I really like the way they're done. I've been waffling all week on if I should cancel my preorder. I don't know.

so you can just shove a core in the mainframe bridge empty spot. Guess i'll pick it up then.

Fantastic review. I’ve been struggling to avoid buying this but the enthusiasm here is infectious and all the cool gimmicks are winning me over

I know, right? Ball joints! That's all it needed. I don't need the turrets to move up and down, but at least let them rotate!
It's amazing how often Hasbro forgets how useful ball joints are.

But given how hollow this toy is, I think there must have been some pretty heavy budget constraints handed down from on high.
If Titans were priced more like Masterpieces, where they cost as much as they cost; sometimes cheaper, sometimes more expensive, I think we would've gotten a better Ark.

That's not to say it's bad, but I don't think I'll be getting it for full price.

Some considerations after watching the reviews.
Teletraan-1 is bigger than I thought, probably more akin to a voyager than a deluxe. I'd love for the backpack in robot mode to compact more but given that the golden disks are stored there I can understand why it wasn't possible. In computer mode he really only looks good from the front but he makes for a nice display with either full sized or core class figures.
The Ark's transformation is a bit more involved than I thought, in particular I like how the nosecone compresses in robot mode. It woukd be nice if the robot torso also compressed a bit more in order to hide that gap visible above the waist. Speaking of gaps, the panels that fill the forearms when pulling the hands out are a really nice touch. The fact that the ramp on the rear of the ark mode doesn't lead to any usable interior space is a bit of a bummer. Articulation wise the figure is good with the exception of the hands and the limited ankle tilt.
I can't help but wonder if this figure like Scorponok was subjected to budget limitations and what could we have gotten otherwise. Still, it seems to be a nice titan.
