Yeah, but the lack of communication was the problem. If he would given an explanation on what happened it would have been better. But the lack of communication. Than all of sudden with another project requesting for money. Just made it look bad.its all lesson learned for the next project. And how better to acquire funding. Which is opm, like business do.

I had a few issues with this project. I have a very limited budget for luxury items like collectibles, 2-3 figures a year. I paid towards the end of the initial offering, December 2018. Initially, there were regular, promising updates. Then they became more sporadic, with new reasons for delays. I attempted to get my money back through PayPal but the period had expired. When Nate offered refunds in September, I asked for one. Never happened. I asked if he could do a payment plan, $20 a month or so, last I heard from him. Then I see him trying to collect for other projects.

Working multiple jobs has taught me a few things. Enjoy the things you have, be empathetic of others, and do your best to fulfill promises.

I understand Nate quit his job to attempt this project. I feel like we paid for his mistakes and along the way, bought him a new computer among other things. Had he taken a part-time, minimum wage job, he could have paid us back by now. Instead I got a $90 lesson about investing in an unproven artist’s work.

Nate, if you are sincere about refunds, I want to be repaid.

First off, I have no interest in starting any arguments here. I am sorry for all of the strong feelings this project has caused. It was never my intent to harm anyone. I won't be responding to angry posts, I'm sorry I failed all of you. I hope this will do a little to help heal the breach.

I just wanted to let you all know that after much thought I decided to publish the stl files of this project over on my mini factory. They are not public so you can't search for them, but if you use the link below you will be able to download the files you will need to print your own Satchel. The files are free do what you want with them. I know this won't be helpful for those of you without 3d printers, and I'm sorry. It's been so long now I don't remember which are the most up to date (though the dates might help). I never finished making the updates (which I would have needed test shots to continue refining). It's a little rough, but it is build-able. You will need to wade through a few parts and see what works. Do what you can. Use supports when printing. I takes small screws and 1.5- 2mm wire/pins

The screws can be found here, use the 6mm length.

Here is the link to the stl files.

    Again, I'm sorry

Link does not work. Brings up a 404 error.

Hey man, it's alright. Things happen. But in the end, you promised a toy, and you've given us one. You don't have to think about this any more if you don't want to.

I did come to this thread very late, but I read it all the way through. I'm glad this story can have a good conclusion. I don't doubt this print will be a very successful one. And I do hope you continue to make things. I'm sure we all do.

Basically, you're good, you did it, and you should keep doing it. You've got a brighter future ahead.

Thank you. I don't know when I'll be able to print it(I have two printers but there's a 91% alcohol shortage) but it's something at long last.

But there are files... some of which don't want to be downloaded.. and the overall 3D printing became pretty cheap because of evolution and cheapinging of technology.

Yeah, I quickly read what was in this thread and yes, it's quite strange that there was no more post in terms of ready-made printing or something. There wasn't even another person's WIP.

I tried downloading the files, and there's nothing there. Did anyone else get it?

Giving the history of all this, I doubt he'd mind but being respectful to the modeler is appreciated.

Oh no worries, I wasn't pressuring you.
