Absolutely for all you said! Also, Seawatch was excellent: his pseudo-cybertronian boat mode is one of my favorite ! In addition, a naval bot would be great to have on the box the first naval command military insignia!

Aside from the unfortunate let down of Hasbro not making a peg hole for Mirage\'s shoulder cannon, I\'m still very excited to be getting a Earth mode Mirage, and from what I\'ve read and seen in the comments on TonTon\'s review, there\'s a fella by the name of Lorenzo Espinoza who shared the link below that shows a nice 3D printed shoulder mount for the cannon to fit. Not to mention that I\'m almost certain that folks like Nonnef, and other 3rd parties will be selling upgrade kits to fix this problem.

Man, Grimlock feels so half-assed.

 

He’s not as good as I was hoping he would be, but with a lot of paint, he’d be quite decent.

 

Maybe it's the camera, maybe it's the mold itself, but Grimlock looks to have a pinhead compared to prior images. Maybe it's just the lighting, but I wasn't expecting it to look like that.

 

Sure sure, this set is riding on Mirage love.  I finally cracked open my Dinobot and found him powerfully okay.

 

Jesus, they really did leave him unfinished. Wth

 

Gosh his colours look astoundingly bad.

 

I do think as a Dinosaur, Grimlock works better than Dinobot by way of not having eyes and bright blue sections on his thighs and large gold breasts.
It’s just kind of a frustrating mold in general. Both modes suffer for each other and Grimlock gets a really dull and unfinished looking robot so he can have a cohesive dinosaur mode, meanwhile Dinobot gets a nicely detailed robot mode at the expense of the dinosaur mode looking completely unfinished.

I like it more now than I did in the promo shots but not enough to bother getting this set and having to flip Mirage.

 

Yeah he looks like a sad attempt lol. Good thing I really only want mirage.

 

I'm vastly more interested in the BW characters on these sets, and this pic right here, solidifies my opinion.

I'm gonna headcanon all these obscure Kingdom repaints as a BW version of the Wreckers.  

 

Grimlock joining the Wreckers would make for a very cool story.

 

How the hell has a third party not made new hands for the raptors? The default ones look god awful.
