To be real with you I can't tell what's rumor or what is confirmed plus some youtuber transformers creators tend to exaggerated aka comodin cam or someone on the lines like the fire Brothers no shade but they do exaggerate it

Everything about this movie is a rumor, including all the official statements, until it's final release.

Also, I am unsure how I feel about this movie. Bumblebee didn't impress me at all. If this is a continuation of that, I can't say I care. I also can't say I care about a continuation of the Bayverse either. I think it'd be better off just being it's own thing. A reboot, of sorts.

Reboot the entire franchise, this time with the beasts. Make it modern day or something, with very little to do with the original BW stories. Just adapting the concept of the beasts. It's already a mostly animated movie, might as well just animate the rest anyways, while we're at it. No reason to go by half. That, I'd be interested in. But, I can't say I have any interest in seeing more Bay movies, or Bumblebee inspired sequel movies.

Nightbird has a Bay like design. That's good news.
Maybe the designs won't be so bad like the BB movie cyberteon scene. Fingers crossed.

As long as they weren't rushed in 3-6 months that should be the case.

And even then, even then for a set of models that were made under a time limit they mostly look better than the Bay movie designs that had plenty of time to be made / worked on.

Wasn't BB Shatter supposedly modeled off of G1 Nightbird? I don't think a Bay-like design of Nightbird shouldn't be too terrible if that's the case.

Also are there any rumors about revamping any of the rushed Cybertron scene characters? I can't imagine that one Arcee design being squished into a tiny motorcycle, especially how the new films changed up character scale.

I'm not actually sure if they literally meant the Bay aesthetic or just that it's basically a movie-fied version of the G1 design (like BB Movie Prime). The reason I say this is I read somewhere else the designs are less Bay-like and more streamlined. Though, I guess we'll find out for ourselves when they reveal them. Crossing my fingers they're like the BB Movie Prime or BB Movie Seeker designs.

Yeah, they were a little cartoony. It was almost like watching Toy Story: the animation's good, but the designs don't blend well with real environment. (It might have been the case that the scene was set in an artificial environment so it was difficult to get it differently).

Hopefully, they will go more in the direction of Jungle Book/Lion King than Toy Story. From what the director said they kept the designs from Bayverse, but tweaked them a little to be more streamlined. So I guess they will be closer to Bumblebee's Bumblebee than Transformers' Bumblebee.

Bumblebee and Blitzwing looked really good. Enough details and machine parts to rely the complexity and enough smooth, color surfaces for the eye to hang on. OP was a little to constrained by his original G1 design. It looked fine when he was standing around, but moving he would probably run into the same issues as WfC/FoC OP for being too bulky. On the other hand, Shatter and Dropkick had too much going on, they could use more color plates on their bodies for them to pop out.

That's what they said, Nightbird looks a lot like the G1 design, more Bumblebee style but sleeker.

So, when will anyone describe them better? I might try to recreate the designs if we get some good descriptions, I can draw them. Also, this is from Laszlo Ven. I am still looking for more info on this.

If you don't mind me asking, what is a Bay-like design? Like what does it need to have for it to be a bay-like design in your own words?

@Lazlow007 were you at the event? Or the art you are making is based on the descriptions that were given? Anyway, it looks cool. Art by Lazlow007.

I saw another Youtuber describe Nightbird as having dread-like cables and angular spiky bits and Scourge as having curved spikes on his design, so I wonder if the director plans on connecting the Dreads from DOTM to them? He did apparently say "you saw characters like them in previous films"

He said that about the predacons being reptilian, I guess he meant the dinobots.

Yup, basing it on the descriptions. That's how I made Bee's alt-mode as well. Currently working on Nightbird.

I'm so excited. I'm a little salty that Jazz is t in the movie while using a car similar to his know alt mode but imma remain optimistic. Maybe one day int the future hell return. I wonder what alt mode they'd use or consider for him

I thought they learned from BB by keeping the movies simple. Few Transformers and make both the human and robot characters have heart. Rise of the Beasts sounds like another attempt from Paramount to repeat spectacle over substance.

How about we actually wait for photos or a trailer or something that we can actually see rather than a bunch of tweets that came out at the same time before we start dooming the movie.

Huh TFW2005, think you can all actually do that for once?
