Jazz...since the v1 never got released and no doubt they'd go back to the drawing board with the hyper-articulation and toon accuracy focus the line now has.

My vote is for Sideswipe. While he isn't a bad figure by any means, his age really shows when you put him with Sunstreaker and try to pose him.

Nooo, it would have to be someone I get on with on the forums I unknowingly singled out for Prowl-bashing, well, bashing! :lol

See what it is, I was looking at him the other day whiile dusting and thought: damn he still looks incredible seven years on. :inquisiti

He's the one that still holds up for me (along with the original bluestreak which I prefer to the plus verion) but each to their own man if you want better articulation. At a push, the shoulders are very weird thin panels, I suppose, without much mass to them from the side so I guess there's room for improvement there.

That and the fact he would ideally have his "smoking death gasp" face. :jawdropper:

I vote for MP-51. The old Arcee mold left much in the way of improvement and she hasn't aged well. It's just so ... 2020. I would love to see her redone with modern styling and articulation.

Yeah they hold up very well, but I think they could be done better. Their shoulders are the wrong shape, as well as being quite thin like you say. I think they could figure out a way for them to have smaller chest, proportionally, too. Maybe make the whole alt-mode a tiny bit smaller in the process?

This is coming from a place of a lot of love for Prowl, the character, but especially Bluestreak! Anyway with how well-done the + versions of Bluestreak and Smokescreen were I'm not sure we'd ever get v2s of them, but Prowl without alternate faces? C'mon!

And yeah, the smoking death face is too iconic not to include, especially now we're getting Starscream to do the deed!

    I vote for a do-over of MP-60. But first, a do-over of the do-over!

i guess i'm a bit of an outlier in that i like masterpiece tracks, and i like how he was redesigned a bit from the G1 animation model. i love the guy but his cartoon design was,,, a little confusing and not very well done? i say this as an artist and designer, just because it's nostalgic or the original look doesn't mean it's the best possible take :p  the MP does a great job making sense of it while still staying true to the original design and i prefer it by Miles over the animation model. but! i'd still love to see a 2.0 tracks more than i would anyone else aside from arcee oh lord is she a mess, especially if we'll get extra faceplates. lean a little harder into the cartoon aesthetic rather than the design, fill in the back a little more, make the canopy cannons bigger, add some more articulation and maybe even an articulated raoul figure and i'd buy him in a heartbeat.

You say that in jest, but I would actually be very excited about an Arcee that looks a bit more like the cartoon. I'm sure they'll take another stab at her 15 years down the line. I can wait.

I want a bigger MP Grimlock. The one we have years ago is embarrassingly small, I have it on the Generations shelve instead. We need a massive oversized Grimlock in toon deco so he can hang with the MP shelve again.

Just in case TT should one day release a new Grimlock, I'd be surprised if this time they also proceed with the other 4 Dinobots...

I have this feeling too. I could be wrong, but my impression is that the Japanese market isn’t as thrilled with the Dinobots as Westerners are. They seem to be heavy on hero centric characters in preference but for some reason the Dino’s don’t fit this category. Even the creation of MP08 Grimlock was actually at Hasbro’s request.

Well, in that case I foresee a Fanstoys vs Gigapower rematch.

Pretty much right where I'm at. I love Grimlock, but he doesn't go with the rest of my bots. I'd rather get a new Sideswipe and Ironhide. I might slightly prefer Ironhide, since I can also get a Ratchet out of that. I don't care about getting Tigertrack V2 or whoever out of Sideswipe.

It's so he can match the G1 cartoon coloring.

I’m torn between Soundwave and Rodimus Prime.

I previously voted Sideswipe, but ever since seeing Studio Series 86 Hot Rod, I really want to see them revisit the character in the MP line.
Yuya Onishi designed the SS86 toy and was also responsible for designing the (fucking stunning) vehicle mode on the last MP attempt.

I'm certain that if given the chance and the budget, he would knock a MP Hot Rod out of the park!

Yuya did Rodimus too I think, pretty good chance he'll get to do both mp-wise.

Yeah, I believe so! Fingers crossed.

Although for me, a MP Rodimus would be too big to own. I was all set on picking up Kingdom Rodimus when he was announced, but unfortunately it ended up not looking like I wanted.

MP Hot Rod 2.0 would be my jam :D
