Debating this. Definitely a maybe, if only for the MTMTE shelf. Just not sure.

 

Star Saber makes no sense to me. If you had $200 to blow on Star Saber, wouldn't you own the MP already?

At least with a retail Commander Class Star Saber, there's the argument that he's substantially cheaper than the MP.

It feels like a poor choice to me.

 

Would this mean that a Deathsaurus would also have to come through as a haslab?

That said, as much as I want Star Saber, I'm curious as to what would make him worth $200, unless Victory Leo is included in that number

It'd be a lot more tempting if Victory Leo was a certainty, just because it'd help justify the cost. Although, having never watched Victory, I had look up who that even is. Cool enough looking lion mode but that might be the worst combined form I've ever seen on a Transformer.

 

I'm really not sure how they can justify that price. Unless perhaps victory Leo isn't the only tier and the expect to get all the way through to him. I'm keenly interested, but at that price I'm not sure why I wouldn't just get the mp.

 

Huh. Passed on Unicron, but would be all over Star Saber. Then there's a rumored Galactus Legends HasLab.

In light of new information…. This is a Haslab I would support, so long as Victory Leo is part of it.

 

Nope. They did multiple projects last year... Unicron, ML Sentinel, Cookie Monster (failed to fund) SW Razor Crest, and the Heroe's Quest boardgame all off the top of my head. And the year before that was Jabba's Sail Barge... which I think was the only 2019 project.

I couldn't see Deathsaurus as another Haslab, as he doesn't have a whole lot going on transformation and gimmick-wise. Now as a commander class, I think he would slot in nicely.

 

Uh I’m down for a Haslab Star Saber/Victory Saber stretch goal. Even if it’s 200 (btw thats about going price for a Siege Jetfire). I mean you’re talking one Deluxe class inner figure, A Commander Class outer figure and if Leo Happens that’s a voyager or leader class figure that combines and if they are shooting for animation faithfulness engineering is going to be at Hot Rod level.

 

if the Haslab is successful we would probably see him in the mainline.
