That said, I still can't believe that anyone would look at this figure and find anything negative to say about it; might be time for a new hobby if THAT garners ANYTHING but pure joy and elation.

Am I the only one that wants these things smaller? I want smaller boxes and smaller figures because I'm running out of display space. He looks perfect to me!

I actually just bought my first Legends scale figures because I'm liking the small size.  

 

Hiding the tail fins inside the wings in bot mode has to be this figure's MP moment.

I’m a little underwhelmed, honestly. It isn’t that he doesn’t look good. I’m still happy I sold off my previous MP Screamer and the MT version’s head never did it for me, but (at least these pics) aren’t overly flattering. There is something about his stature/movement that just hits me a little wrong. Will have to see some comparison pics with the new 3P version because there is a small chance I swap out for it now that we’ve seen a little more.

 

If I wanted a tiny Starscream NewAge's is a better sculpt.

 

I cannot believe people are complaining about the height. is that because there's nothing left to complain about? In that shot with the Maketoys version he's in the background so I believe the height difference is being exaggerated. I'll bet he's shorter than the Maketoys version, but not by as much as it appears in that picture.

I've also had this crazy theory since this figure was first unveiled that they went a little smaller this time with the seekers to get them closer to the future MP Aerialbots in alt mode size.  

And I didn't realize (or forgot) that the display stand can tilt! It's going to be amazing posing the seekers in alt mode while banking. The purple on that stand looks way better than I expected.

 

Bwahaha! Wow. Let's not get carried away. He's not that small. Aren't the Newage seekers like 4 inches tall?

 

In just a few more days this will be my Decepticon shelf!

I think since Kobayashi has been leader of the mp design team, they are trying to correct the size. It's like people back to the time Shockwave is announced were expecting him to be as tall as Soundwave, but he is actually shorter. The same example is mp45 which is a little bit higher than mp21. It might explain why Starscream is at the same height of Shockwave.

 

He looks so so so good.

 

Oh, wow. That transformation is a work of genius. He looks terrific, and I hope to eventually get one, once we get a better idea of how his build quality is.

But also, those comparisons really show how great the Maketoys one still is. Might actually snag one of those instead, assuming his price comes down now that there’s a worthy official MP contender to the throne.

 

Damn man. This might be the best Masterpiece since Megatron and Sunstreaker. Here’s hoping the build and paint quality is solid!

 

There are some really cool aspects of him. Someone here something looks off. He might be runty but hard to tell for sure with these pics. His proportions still look off. He appears more like a charature of Starcream with the proportion and expressions. I need to see more photos

 

Yeah, the wings open up like a pita bread, to sandwich the blue tail stabilizers inside.

 

Thank primus I don't have to worry about the miscoloured faux canopy in robot mode, that's basically a good color match!

I'm so siked to get that shipment notification from RobotKingdom and wait around 2 weeks to have him in hand, I just hope his plastic and paint quality is on par with Arcee!
