When preorders first went live for premium members it sold out quickly so they put it up again at a later release date

 

The Ark pre-orders sold out day one, then went back up later that day with a new date of December. The December ones are a second batch.

With Slag hitting Australia, right now, I'd say we should see him in the US around the middle of July. A Target store worker in New York said a case of Slag and Wreck-Gar made its way there a few weeks back, guess they're sitting on it for a reset or register lock of some kind. I think you'll definitely have him by your birthday. And in case I don't remember when it comes around, happy birthday!

Same. We got in at the early bird, first, run. That one is what's getting ready to ship to the US, soon. China already has it and several people have it in hand.

Have to give Hasbro and Pulse credit where it's due... They got that second run set up and out there pretty doggone fast.

 

I took a screen shot of the inventory for Studio Series Devastator on Pulse yesterday, it appears to be showing 773. I checked just now and it's still 773. Is this correct? Is this thing selling that slowly? If that's correct, I'd expect to see this hitting their ebay shop at a decent sale at some point.

I could see it selling slowly partly due to collectors like me who managed to get each piece individually at mass retail. Another reason I could easily see is people who don’t want to spend $260 on the “wrong” Devastator (as in not G1 style)

 

Yeah. But these boxes are HUGE. If they can’t even sell one a day they are going to have to discount them. I kind of wish I had waited lol. I just ordered one on Tuesday but wasn’t at a place where I could check the inventory. Oh well.

 

Yeah I’m surprised that they haven’t been price dropped yet. Considering the size of the thing I am sure that 773 boxes are all on one warehouse shelf rack and are taking up at least half a rack if not more. Maybe if they do that Warehouse Sale ever again like they did in ‘19 when people found Omega for like $25 or $40 SS Devy will be there for maybe $75-80

 

I would say that's accurate. As was stated, a lot of us bought the set piecemeal, therefore, making it unnecessary for a lot of collectors but the price is nothing to joke about either. That's a lot of money in one fell swoop. Plus, the repainted parts basically look awful on the set, people said it was akin to stepping in poo. Plus, SS has shifted to 86 for the most part, this year, putting SS itself on hold. A lot of redirection and chance in focus for a lot of collectors. I think this set will go the way of Titans and not sell right now, but go for gonzo prices down the road when the stock dries up.
