Why?

 

The real question is 'why did you think the bayverse was going to last forever' since it never was. The implication that the franchise is moving on past the thing you like is somehow a bad thing isn't going to garner much sympathy since pretty much everybody in the fandom already has gone through this when their favorite series ended. Moving on is part of life, it doesn't matter what you're moving on from. It applies just the same.

Especially since Bayverse was dead as of 2019 when Hasbro stated Bumblebee was a reboot in shareholder friendly terms. Studio Series is still on life support in terms of content it can actually use, but that's not going to last forever either.

Because the only reason I see for Bayformer fans to be depressed is that they won't be seeing many Studio Series toys next year. If that's what this is about, wrong forum, as this would belong in the toy section. Otherwise, I don't see what's new. The next TF film is just like the last one: It's got it's own director, Bay's producing, it's largely it's own thing and Lorenzo is still making people confused as to whether or not it's connected to the Bayverse. It's just like 2018 all over again.

 

But I'm partially depressed but because I've been waiting for a sequel to the beast within since 17 years ago :v

 

It's also important to remember that just because you're a bayformers fan, it doesn't mean you can't like G1, Beast Wars etc. I, and I'm sure a lot of other bayformers fans, will be purchasing more SS86 and Kingdom stuff next year.

 

I wouldn't even say that Studio Series is close to dying considering they have a wealth of 86, Bumblebee, Expanded Movieverse, and Rise of the Beasts characters at their disposal in these upcoming few years, not to mention future films like the Cybertron Prequel and beyond.

 

Bayformers fans think they're dying when Studio series is still going on strong...

Meanwhile BW fans, whose series arguably saves the franchise before, got a drip here and there (and almost full focus thanks to Kingdom)...

And they say we're the one being entitled  

 

But I thought BW fans were like kings and were respected meanwhile bayformers fans were seen as "12 year olds" and were the scourge of the TF community :v

 

That's true, but I'm running on the assumption that this thread is about Bayformer fans who are only into Bayformers. I, personally, am somewhere in between where I kinda like G1 toys, but I'm dreading the idea of both Studio Series and Evolution being G1-centric next year, with only a handful of things from other versions of the franchise.

I'd say there's a strong chance we'll start seeing Beast Wars figures in Studio Series, although somewhat stylized and likely just the same characters we just got in Kingdom.

Probably, but I'll reserve my judgement first, seeing it'll be a beast that transform into Bay styled TF, kinda hard to imagine it gets translate into toys.

 

I'd honestly be surprised if the designs weren't closer to those seen on Cybertron, in Bumblebee.

 

Don't worry Beast Wars saved the franchise once it can save it once again  

I can't wait for the updated designs for Beast Warriors once the film hits the streets  

With how much the characters have been crossing-over recently it's only a matter of time before we get the next Beast Wars show.

 

I have no sympathy for CRAZY bayfans after they attacked Bumblebee for not being muh Bayformers.
