And how should they "step up" with Hasbro? Say pretty please and send them flowers? Have Hans Blix send them a sternly worded but not threatening letter? You're really good at saying they should fix these problems but awfully short on solutions. We should stop because people (not just me) are calling you on it.

I'm still happy with their service. If the day ever comes when I'm not, I'll shop elsewhere. It's as simple as that.

(I'm not trying to be antagonizing here but you need to stop with this "you're getting emotional!" deflection.)

Really frustrating. My last package (unrelated) came a day late, but that's because of SmartPost having to hand it to USPS. However, with this having no tracking info whatsoever because of the Osseo thing....I'm getting a bit paranoid that it just won't show.

Depending on where you live, you have to wait for it to transition back to our reality after it has escaped the Osseo Anomaly. for me it took about a day from Osseo to Grove City.

My G2 Ramjet preorder at BBTS is still for July (for what that's worth).

Their shipping is only "free" if you buy $150 of stuff at once, which is hard to do from a site that's charging 40-250% markups on the items they sell. BBTS is charging about 10% markups on almost everything. Do they take longer, sure. But who really cares. If having the item first matters a lot to you, well, you have options--TFSource ships your purchases within 24 hours. I would too--don't want to give people time to shop around and cancel on you, right!?

But to me, the "concern" and issues surrounding BBTS are small, and only matter to a subset of customers with some strange ideas about what a retailer is for.

In case it evades anyone, people start a retail business to make money. I would estimate that Joel has anywhere from 95 to 98 percent of his money tied up in stock at any given time. Despite this, he's selling us products at damn near unbeatable prices. They take longer, but the service and packaging are ALWAYS top quality. Shipping is unbelievably cheap, and it gets cheaper the more items you buy at once. Their staff will listen to literally any bullshit you want to talk with them about (HI KELLEN), and give you good answers. Sorry, but 7 months into this hobby, you just can't find that anywhere else that I've looked.

If your M\O is to order everything at BBTS, then go trawling at Target and Wal-mart for the same items, buy them, and cancel your orders at BBTS, that's OK. You're really not hurting anyone most of the time, right? But they also aren't hurting you if they de-prioritize you for order fulfillment. They're just giving you more time to find one cheaper at Target or Wal-mart.

It will show. This is 100% typical, and has to do with how FedEx Osseo keeps house. Keep the faith. I've had FedEx sneak into my house at 3am and leave a package in my microwave before. No, not literally, that's just how it feels sometimes.

shit we're still going on about this?

what amazes me is all the complaints i see from people but you're all still using BBTS. stop. if this is going to be that big an issue then stop.

people love to bag on BBTS for this shipping priority thing yet your actions have made this happen. reap what you sow. instead of going somewhere else you all still complain while still using BBTS to PO and cancel over and over again. you guys that do this are the reason this is in place. i've done it on occasion sure. i certainly don't do it all the time and never when something is already bought. i have zero issues with BBTS and all my stuff eventually shows up. packed very well i might add with very affordable shipping. i really can't hate on them for doing this if this system has in fact been abused.

i see the same thing in the target thread. we all know target has no intention to fill preorders, one of our guys even talked to a target rep and they told him that, and they cancel them all the time on everyone yet some still use it and are surprised when their PO is yet again cancelled. after finding out their policy is basically a big fuck you to people that preorder i don't preorder from them. period. i'm not preordering then bitching when they do what they always do.

vote with your service and wallet. this thing won't change unless people stop using BBTS in droves or change their buying habits. it sucks they get their stuff in later than a lot of places but that's not their fault. that's hasbro. hasbro prioritizes who they want. again....we know all this. you're all free to shop somewhere else.

While they have a direct account, it's vastly overshadowed by the direct accounts of places like Walmart, Target etc. Hasbro is worried about keeping the big fish happy first, which means smaller direct accounts like BBTS get what they get, when they get it.

Oh, man. I don't follow the Target or Wal-mart threads. Are you telling me people STILL haven't figured it out? Preordering through those stores is about as likely to succeed as making a sandwich out of a can of soup and not spilling any...

Mostly, and maybe not so much exactly BBTS, but with smaller shops that have to prioritize and base orders largely off of preorders, when people up and cancel their preorders on them and buy elsewhere that does in turn saddle the store with more unsold stock that they have to work to move all over again (sometimes at discount). As it can be imagined, creating that kind of issue for any seller, let alone a larger store like BBTS, is quite annoying, and is what has led places like BBTS to have to find ways to dissuade that kind of buying pattern however they can, as well as in some cases with big ticket items introduce a non-refundable money down policy to try to prevent it from happening in the first place.

But anyway, I'm sure TFXProtector already knew all of that which is why he's acting so weirdly guilty over even a single cancellation (and is also why he is in this thread trying so hard to switch the blame over to BBTS/Hasbro/the fandom/society in order to absolve himself from that guilt).

I admit to doing the pre-sale tango with Hasbro Pulse and Amazon, but those are for figures that will sell out regardless, with massive global corporations. Since getting back into collecting I have purchased from a number of different stores - Entertainment Earth, Chosen Prime, Terry's TF, TF Safari, TF Source, Bababobo, TF Direct and even Megalopolis . The options are there for anyone dissatisfied with BBTS. IMO BBTS's long track record makes them the safest and most reliable of these retailers.

It seems like the way they handle it works correctly. The guy that wants to cancel an order to save 2 dollars and support an international megachain instead of a White-Hat company like BBTS, will get a little extra time to locate that opportunity.  The problem is, some of the people in that situation do not feel patient about waiting. It is apparently a really big deal to some people if their recreational plastic toy takes a bit longer than expected to arrive. I don't get it. My thought is... you didn't have it yesterday, you don't have it today. What has changed? ...Except for you torturing yourself inside over the fact that you still don't have it when other people do. Who caaaaaares. (I don't mean you btw, GizmoTron)

But what I like about this situation, is no one is being forced to do anything, and we all have very many options. Personally, I feel that BBTS is objectively the best option. I've been buying shit from literally everyone all year long. Nobody else comes within grenade throwing distance of BBTS's overall bio card stats. Hasbro Pulse WITH $50 PREMIUM is about the closest, but their shipping speed and quality are much, much worse. And I have to buy 13 single items from them in a year before their $50 premium free shipping becomes cheaper than what BBTS would charge me to ship 13 individual items. And since I don't use BBTS that way in the first place, thanks to pile of loot which Pulse lacks... There's really no comparison to be made.

Don't get your hopes up. Pulse now has it delayed until 8/26. Entertainment Earth now says August as well.

I'm surprised they're reissuing him when Black Zarak is coming. Glad they're doing it though. The mold makes for a nice figure, one of their best in recent years.

I wonder if DNA will actually hit their target on the ETA for the leg extensions...

Now, I'm just waiting on BBTS to get that 52Toys wolf cube...thing. Bought my wife the penguins set and we've been hooked ever since.
