It does come from a point of frustration because of the difficulty of getting the new figures. That also plays into my point. How long will people go through hell to try and get a figure that is sold out in seconds all over the place? At some point, you will just throw up your hands and ask yourself "Why am I still doing this?" and move on to something else and shortly forget Fanstoys still exists. I do speak from personal experience with this as I have over 30 fanstoys figures and I'm not going to sit online ready to press F5 over and over hoping for a miracle. I frickin love their figures, but it's not worth it to go through this to get them. I can't be the only one that has these feelings.

 

I wish they hadn't reissued 2 Dinobots so close together (quite a punch to the wallet) but I'm more than happy to get them.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a Scoria/Cesium reissue later in the year.

 

PO boxes are really cheap...just sayin'

 

I know several people (myself included) that likes the “thrill of the hunt” for POs. While these and the others are more than the frustated, no problem for FT.

 

It's not just PO Box, you need Paypal verified addresses for all PO boxes, etc. Will some people do that? No doubt, but plenty of people out there doing it? I doubt it. The law (at least in the US) also prevents people from using PO Box to apply for credit cards, etc.

I don’t have a PO Box but I do have a “third party mail” service wherein they exist to receive packages/mail for you. Kind of a PO Box replacement if you will. It costs me like 100 bucks for the entire year and has yet to cause a single issue for me. This is also a good solution for those people

 

Setting up one is easy. Setting up a couple might be a logistical challenge. Having a number of credit cards also lowers your credit score.

I think there's this misconception that only scalpers use bots. The thing is with how fast certain things sell out, using a bot even for a single order gives you a lot of advantages as well.
