I expect the movie to open at Machu Picchu in the past with the Incas being attacked by Predacons, Maximals show up and save them and seal the Predacons in a tomb and cut to the title we go to the 90s. Or something like that.

 

Maybe the Beast characters toys are already in production so Hasbro needed them to appear earlier than expected.

I think they are going to make this Kingdom 2.0 but it's live action from all this info.

It would be cool if the Terrorcons are connected to the Quintessons...

 

Spider-Man No Way Home is also said to have a LOT of characters, we will see how that does.

Yeah, but it can be blamed on Bay not giving a fuck too.

 

Yeah...for TLK, Michael Bay just ruined the movie, all action scenes were so short and not standard at all, can describe as a mess..plus no character development..and the storytelling also mess up with human history.

 

I wonder how the Autobots will get from Brooklyn to South America...

 

The thought of this film possibly still being part of the Bayverse had me thinking. What if the beasts we see ARE from the Bayverse? Like, distant future far away. And they get stuck on this timeline's past ala Beast Wars style and causes this universe into a different direction, making the new Bumblebeereboot universe? Kinda like a Days of Future Past situation? (God, typing out that title made me realize how stupid it is)

 

Yes but, like, this seems to be two scripts combined.

TLK was, like, twenty scripts, and half of them weren't even good ideas.

 

I get the feeling that each faction will only have 3 to 4 characters in them if the film has any hope of balancing them all.

 

I just hope they give Optimus and co some breathing room to develop as characters (e.g. showcase their individual personalities, strengths, weaknesses etc.) and maybe give us some backstory as to why the Terrorcons broke off from the Decepticons in the first place (maybe they weren't strong enough to face Megatron or felt he wasn't fit as Decepticon leader), and how the Maximals and Predacons fit into the story.

 

Ok so if this IS a sequel to bumblebee yet they want to be semi connected to the bay films, a few things could be taking place hear. Considering there is no word of the Cons this makes it interesting. Perhaps Megatron is (for lack of a better term) still on ice. We know hoover dam was in bumblebee, the reason for his absence in the past movie and this movie could be that set up. I did not think Megatron being frozen by sector 7 in Hoover Dam was the piece that holds this cluster f*ck all together but here we are. Maybe they are trying to use that as their overall story glue.

 

Would probably give them a chance to develop some of the other characters like Starscream, Soundwave, Shockwave, and maybe Barricade...
They should definitely give Megatron his due in the Cybertron Prequel film or trilogy (finger crossed) and the follow up to The Last Knight.
I'd love for Megatron to reject Unicron's help or being his pawn I think that'd be such a powerful character moment. Like a reverse of their meet in Prime when Unicron rejected Megatron's help.

 

They are transforming robots who mastered Interstellar travel I'm sure they can manage to travel 3,700 miles  

 

All this talk on whether it is a reboot or a continuation of before is giving me some RID vibes.


All I can say is that Paramount trying to continue the Bayverse after the last 2 movies would be the equivalent of shooting themselves in the throat.

 

This movie is kind of giving me Car Robot vibes in general, the mish mash of G1, Beast Wars and so forth. Which is definitely not a bad thing.

I'd say at this point treat it as a rumor for now. Hard to say anything for sure until we see it with our own eyes.
