Probably because nobody ever mentioned "spudgers" (a word I just learned) in any of these threads or videos. People only said, and showed, screwdrivers.

Not trying to put you down, but it's common that if you use metal on plastic, plastic would lose. Just chalk it up to experience and Galvatron having battle scars.

Boiling water from a kettle will remove the stress marks. Just pour in 3 second bursts.

The damage can be polished out with the super fine wet and dry kits 3000/5000/7000 grit. Amazon sell them.

You would get that looking much improved if not virtually invisible.

That shoulder issue had fueled this thread long before we knew it existed lol. After having galvatron for a few he is awesome. Still going to paint him but this is the galvatron you are looking for.

I haven’t got my hands on Galvatron yet, but are spudgers even an option? They tend to be far thicker than the screwdrivers I’ve seen people use, which already barely seem to fit between the shoulder pieces from what I’ve seen.

I suppose that's the right color if you want him to yawn and say "darn that Soundwave."

Movie colors would be way bluer. Rebirth colors would be purpler.

Every time a new Galvatron is released, we're having discussions on the purple. Explaining to people how purple changes drastically under lighting more so than most colors; how Galvatron was never blue in the Movie... because people always say he was and that they want a blue Galvatron.

How thick were the flatheads you used? I used flatheads that have pretty thin heads and are about 1/4 inch wide. I also inserted them in the thinner tech detailed side and slid them around. Just curious but what was your process? I don't understand how you destroyed the shoulders that badly.

You could still fix them. Especially if you are handy. They could be sanded using decreasingly finer grit then heated with a hair dryer to remove the rest of the marks.

I just received a notice from Amazon that this is arriving tomorrow — has anyone in the states recieved through Amazon yet, and if so, which version of the shoulders did you get?

Man, that stinks. I hate that happened. This convinced me to be satisfied with the pins showing. Loving the figure, however, I stumbled across 5 or so at Target, got mine, realized I'd forgotten something on the honey do list and went back later that day and they were all gone. I don't want to have to go hunting for what's to me a minor thing.

Love it can you post him next to cyclonus? I'm curious how they might look together color coordinated.

    IMG_20210624_095833.jpg Hi guys

The purple little tab on the side body that use to clip on the chest plate in cannon mode body was shaved off a bit when I pull it out from the chest plate.

And it only happen to the left side. And now I transform into cannon mode, the left side clip does no stay securely on the chest plate.

    Is it a common problem?

How to I fix the flattened clip? IMG_20210624_094930.jpg

Exact same thing happened to mine. Still holds, so I'm not sure how much of an issue it'll be down the road, if at all.

It did it right out of the box on mine.

Damn, it is a bad design. Got to get another one for robot and one in alternate mode.

I saw the emgo316 YouTube his left tab is intact but there is plastic warp on the left side of chest cover hole meant for this tab to clip in.
