That would at least be more on topic than talking about Armada Prime.

And Devcon needs to happen. This is non-negotiable.

Never despair. The creative team has said that they want to introduce more, so it is a matter of time. In fact, it could be that they are simply limited to how many other continuities that they can have per line. I am not saying that it will happen, but the next line after the 2022 one could have no Prime, but be G1, BW, and UT.

You are forgetting that the micromasters didn't sell well, being bad enough to be dropped mid-trilogy. Those were the predecessors of the Minicons, which were a core mechanic of the trilogy. Their failure may have been what gave Hasbro cold feet.

So wait, are you saying what gets made is completely separate from the feelings of who's in charge or are you saying that if we piss off the person in charge, they won't make the toys we want, just to spite us? Those opinions are contradictory.

Assuming your second paragraph wasn't being serious, I don't think you're giving Hasbro as much credit as you think you are. If Hasbro's only reasoning in what gets made is how much noise geeks make about it on the net, that wouldn't just be a mistake, that would be unbelievable ineptitude at their job. By every metric known to us, Armada sold better to the kids of it's time than Prime did, the show reached a wider audience and it being older means it'd generate more nostalgia. Despite this, Prime's getting representation in Generations before Armada. Is it not more logical to think that, with how small a presence Prime's going to have, that this is simply Lenny and/or Mark utilizing some wiggle room their superiors allow them and are making something they want to make, not even because they don't like Armada but because they prefer Prime? And if that is the case, then isn't it also logical to assume Warden had that same wiggle room and simply chose not to use it for non-G1, implying that he simply doesn't like anything not G1? That wouldn't be a conspiracy, that'd just be a choice he singly made based on his own feelings on the franchise.

I was being facetious in the last bit. As for the rest of your argument, I have no idea how you managed to get the exact opposite of what I was saying out of my words.

Your facetious remark may have made me lump you in with those saying Armada fans need to make noise to get Hasbro's attention. Even so, I feel most of my point still stands. Here's a slightly edited version.

I really doubt Thrust is any kind of litmus test for Armada, it's just a minor color palette homage for a toy of character in the Bumblebee movie.

Also us RID fans get some love here and there from HasTak, but I'm not holding my breath waiting on some big Generations push and just take what I get.

Is their proof they didn't sell well? Because it seems like Micromasters were only dropped just because Hasbro was done and made all that they ever planned to make. The theme now just switched to Kingdom with a focus on the prehistoric Fossilizers and some legend sized "Core" bots who can kind of sorta go with big stuff like the Ark, not because Hasbro have lost faith in their smallest Transformers.

Yes grindor would have to be a commander class figure to be scale with the rest of the studio series figures. I might make my own grindor figure

so, to make the conversation go back again to thrust, has anyone figured out any fan mode for ss 72 cybertronian starscream? because it would be really cool if one could make them look more different than just the colors and maybe the angle of the wings

I don't know where to look, but it has been said a few times that the MM and weapon bots did not meet expectations with sales. If they had sold well, they would have kept them in for Kingdom, like the Titan Masters of the previous trilogy.

Said by who, though? Some leaker again? Because I doubt the usual "he tell me" is as trustworthy of a source when it comes to sales data.

Plus Titan Masters were only a part of 2/3rds of their trilogy before they were done, same as Micromasters. They ran their course as Hasbro just has finite plans for most of this stuff.

It was mentioned by an a member of the design team in an interview, though it had long been speculated due to the fact that a lot of stores were not stocking them at Walmart dropped them altogether. Things only stores do when things stop selling.

I remember it being said that hasbro had plans to continued the micro masters line in Kingdom but when Hasbro showed Walmart the new Kingdom lineup during presentation - Walmart said no and refused to stock any more of the Micro masters due to low sales. Walmart is the biggest retailer in US and one of Hasbro’s biggest customers. Hasbro had to go back to drawing board and came up with the Core class instead.

Seriously?! That stinks. :(  Are they even aware about how many people really do want the UT to have a come back? Really reeks for the Armada fans especially since they seem to be getting jack squat for the series 20th anniversary.

At this point I hope they have better luck by the time 2027 comes along for Armada's 25th anniversary like how the BW fans got lucky for the show's 25th anniversary being celebrated after being hosed for it's 20th anniversary. Likewise with Animated.

Yes bayverse movies might be utter shit, but you still have to remember that a whole lot of people like me grew up with them just like some of you guys grew up with ut, beast wars and G1. You cannot deny at least the first 4 films while being quite shit brought in a lot of money. Yes it’s very unfortunate that ut fans and armada fans have got jack shit, but shitting on stuff that you don’t like ain’t gonna help that.

Yep. I don't remember what interview, because I was mostly like "oh, well" and moved on. I only had the thought that it may have played a role in the UT plans last night.

Yeah this is part of why I think Hasbro doesn't really need to be convinced that UT will sell, I think Walmart is the one that needs convincing. Also if this is the one thing holding everything up, it means Hasbro's going to do their best to give Armada the kingdom treatment. Dare I hope for the minicon weapons?

To be honest though, I wouldn't be surprised if Hasbro just wasn't really considering it lmao
