Look at the colors again. It is a Mcfarlanized version of Frank Miller Armored Batman with BVS colors. The other version has different colors, based in the comic.

I saw the presentation today. Not gonna lie, the Articulation disappoints me, but they are charming in their own little way. I'm gonna wait for the leaked Surfer Joker and Batman from Wave 2 of these.
I'm liking them. I don't really go for vehicles but I'm tempted with the 60s Bat-Mobile. Bonus points if they do all three Catwomen in this line.
DSC_0353.jpg by offramp_climber, on Flickr Picked up Damian Wayne and the blue variant of the Todd McFarlane designed Batman. I love the face sculpt on Robin, but his articulation is slightly weird, specifically knees and elbows. For Batman, I think the blue works better than the black/gray normal release, but good lord, those weapon holders right on his back kinda kill it for me. On top of the cape? Really?? Isn't that why Batman has a belt? Also, the spikes on the gauntlets make it feel like Midnighter cosplaying as Batman.
Yeah, probably I've seen the gold label in store a couple of times, but didn't care for it. I think the blue looks better for the overall design, and the head sculpt is great. But when the weapons are in their back sheaths, it looks like he's got a pair of huge scissors on his back.
After the mods I did, yes it definitely would. True, good thing is the figure is able to be posed grabbing them from the sheaths. LOL
I wonder if those The Batman figures are gonna look just as dumb as that statue they revealed where Batman looks super muscular, like the stuntman.
Had a Dr wu double pole swords that didn't seem to go with any transformers I owned. Ended up giving them to my McFarlane gold label batman. Just sharing some images if anyone is interested in going that route.
