I can't help but wonder if they'll do what they did with Vulcun and knock out a metallic repaint later down the line.

 

It's currently listed at Showz for $184 USD, and is expected to come out December (Gonna be really hard for me between deciding on either him or Armada Megs).

I\'ve never purchased a Planet X product but this looks very very cool & on the radar. 

 

very high quality, there is always at least one nonsensical transformation step but everything else is usually worth every penny.

 

Man, mold looks awesome.

If they did this in G1 Grimlock colors, with the bling (painted silver and chrome gold), oh my, i would have had to rethink my decision on my preorder for the Gigapower Superator... actually, i already am...

That dino mode looks sooooo good, and seing digibashes of G1 colors on this mold makes me drool.

 

Fantastic. Like many, I’m not thrilled with the bright red hands, but that’s relatively minor and presumably a fairly easy fix. Otherwise, it looks brilliant.

 

The robot head looks more like Optimus Prime than Grimlock. I am all for stylization, but geez IDW don't get rid of all of the visual ques.

Spark Toys had shown off renders for one back even before their released their Megatron, but every indication is they closed up shop. I could be completely misremembering this (quite a bit of time has passed) but I wanna say the guys who made Civil Warrior Grant said they intended to release a WW Grimlock eventually, but, I don't know that there's been much word from them in quite awhile now?

 

The color pallet is incredible & yes I do like the red hands. Thank you for the feedback. I am going to lock in on account of beautiful aesthetics.

 

Me too. This is my favorite Grimlock design ever!

 

I don't get how people think's this looks like Optimus.

Cause it doesn't. At all.

Unless bots with 2 eyes and a faceplate-looking face now look like Optimus, cause in that case Needlenose would look like Optimus

 

Damn it, don't give me hope that I can budget another 200$ for TFs this year...

I dont get it either? Let's be honest he looks like Batman I mean he even has a giant bat symbol on his chest. It's obvious that grimlock is impersonating Batman.
