Wait and see. I really like how they ship the products you order from them and the 3 orders I got from them were at a discount. However, I knew the price before ordering and their in stock stuff is at same price as other places. So I will pass on them unless they publish prices. For now at least.

Does feel like a shitty thing to do all this on father's day weekend. I honestly didn't think we'd see any POs pop up til Monday.

 

Sony are gonna make as many PS5s as they possibly can. The price will go down, not up. You just have to be patient. This FT shit, although the hype may be manufactured to a degree, it is still limited, they dont make enough to go around or the aftermarket prices wouldn't do what they do, so that gets my vote in this pointless poll.  

 

I have 4 pre-orders for this guy (only keeping 1) so i'd definitely say a PS5 is harder to get. But then again i'm not buying a PS5 for literally the one game I want on it.

 

Check BBTS’ Facebook page frequently & click on their posts link. They may announce pre-orders for Tesla 2.0 & the dinobots soon.

 

In this particular scenario, A3&U did offer the courtesy to send out word that this would happen at 1:00 EST. Not exactly an all day situation.

 

As did TCP, and it's been standard practice with a number of other sellers as well. It's more fun to be melodramatic though.

 

Also, agabyss have announced their fans toys pre-orders before on Facebook, so that’s another possible option. I believe you have to pay the full amount upfront through them. If I see either of these e-tailers announce their pre-orders, I’ll try & post a screenshot unless someone beats me to it.

I have limited money for collecting so saving myself money at every possible point trumps your feeling about this. I'm not scalping them and selling them for more so if me having more than one PO bothers you I don't care. They will be resold to someone else from the store I got them from once I know who has the cheapest.

I would just point out there is a cost associated with your effort in this enterprise you’ve hatched. Good luck, don’t undervalue your time.

 

Only if you belive that the first wave of P.O.s is the only way to secure one, which speaks more to the FOMO mentality that drives the initial wave of panic buying than it does a failure on the buyers part. Any cancelled P.O.s get released back into the wild. How does his shopping the best price and then canceling the others create scarcity? The exact same number of toys are being sold, and if he isn't hoarding them it isn't as if they're even being consolidated under his possession. There were three sad people, but then an additional very happy three later one when those got released back into the wild.

The only thing I've learned to be 100% reliable in all my times on forums is to ignore anyone with more comments than likes. They speak frequently but rarely state anything worth acknowledging. The ratio doesn't particularly matter unless it's negative. Once it's done that, then you know about all you need to know about the poster.

i felt bad for having 2 different pre orders to see which is the cheapest 4 is overkill   but already said i will pass one of the pre orders onto Orion2703 which is easy enough just change my address to his for that order ( or if he secures one will see if any other uker's couldn't get one ) .... done it a few times with tfs-express/omegalock when at family's for a few weeks in london or my mums when i had an op can't miss my transformers or wait  

 

Got mine from TFS Express thanks to a friend’s heads up today. I like that they only allow 1 per customer, at least if I miss out I don’t feel like it’s because some scalper cleared them out. The fun of collecting FT has been sucked out of it for me with all the shenanigans, so a few more main characters (Jazz, Huffer) and I’ll be moving to Legends class. It’s all just replacing other versions of characters now anyway.

 

I knew mentioning the number would trigger some people but it is what it is. Someone will be elated they got him as soon as I let the extras go and they get one of them. My apologies for delaying 3 people's joy!  

I'd like to add that the real overkill is FT's pricing. If they didn't jack everything up I'd have never bothered doing it.
