Don't know where they will fit in the "pants", but it seems like there is always the chance of $78+$78+$100 = $256 or something if it comes down to it. I'm hoping that the Scapper/Mix Master duo may already include the thighs/groin for $78, then the arms will include the hands for no more than $78, and the torso will have the head+gun for no more than $78. $236 wouldn't be too bad for a 6 figure combiner. Or even that Scrapper/Mixmaster will be the most expensive set with the biggest combiner chunk and the other two will end up less than $78.

 

you and i may be on the same boat. i used to buy a lot more 3p figures in the past but have narrowed it down to mainly official mp now. bought the IF war giant bc the combined mode was nice, but individual modes were too simple and stubby, and i ended up selling him.

i couldn’t resist when i saw this ms devy (i have a soft spot for combiners, esp devy), and that got me to preorder the first set. went back and got menasor to mess around with, and i’m glad i did. cool little guy. i also plan on getting their prime v2 just bc it’s like a mini-mp44, but i don’t see myself getting the entire line of legends. just figures here and there that really impress me.

And ordered Menasor, Megs, Shockwave and Sound wave... Put in pre-orders for the Devy set 1 and Prime 2.0

I'm hoping the MS figures can hold up to being messed with a lot as I kinda want them to be desk bots I can fiddle. Does the Nylon seem to wear any better/worse than ABS on other bots?

 

My congratulations and condolences! Yeah, the nylon is stupid kinds of sturdy. Stands up to wear, to rough handling, to throwing it in the ground and stomping on it. I've heard some say the joints can get loose if you play with it a lot but I must not have played with them that much cuz mine are all fine. Keep in mind, though, that the Stunticons and some of their other recent releases aren't nylon. Looks like they're going back to nylon for the constructicons, though.

We'll see what the future holds, but currently my desire with legends is to stick to the newer MS bots. And as long as I'm trying to finish my MP collection, I'll do a pretty good job of that.

It's supposed to be the other way around... I get men drunk to buy ME things!

From the MS Optimus 2.0 thread you can see Hook and Mixmaster in the background here. Again not a good shot for height comparison unfortunately, but Hook is right next to the trailer in box mode so maybe something can be done with that.

Magic Square has teased all the Season 1 Autobots a couple of times, but haven't advanced any on Jazz yet. There were a few posts where it was just line art of several character's heads (link below is the one had the Jazz head, nothing more in it really). They also did a silhouette shot a few years ago with the full 1984 Autobot group from the toy catalog with their figures and silhouettes of all the rest. It is just a matter of time (I thought for a long time they would be next once they finished the Decepticons who got a similar silhouette that is now completely filled in).

those constructicons look better than any on the market, imo…the faces have almost always been off, thanks for somehow nailing it on something smaller than my pinky nail when others can’t get it right even at MP scale, MS.

speaking of MP I had the same problem as @OstOgBajer, but I’ve let most of my mps go in favor of a limited legends collection. Even if it balloons it won’t be such a chore to tear down/move/put up, or take up a full room/wall for display… just my preferences.
Also slightly easier on the wallet.  

 

That picture isn't accurate to the sizes in which they've released their figures. Their Sideswipe and Huffer are huge.

 

This doesn't seem to be a priority for MS anymore. They showed off a finished Prowl in packaging back in December and he still hasn't shipped.

 

Ah, but we're hoping that the delay was to change the production run to be without those silly tampos on the doors.
