Oh, I guess I see what you mean. Those are going to be hard to avoid in a legends class figure though. A lot of those are the actual joints, which have to go somewhere, Plus at least one tension slot for ball joints. I was thinking more in terms of robot mode. In person I don't really notice those gaps, but if they bother you, then maybe that's not the figure for you.

Thanks! Also the gaps on legs and arms, etc.

She's been out for quite a while. She came out like two-three weeks after tracks. She has been in my package from China since April 15th (Yes its been in transit that long). I paid her off in February(Taobao).

I have not really been paying attention. She really has not hit anywhere else?

Okay, I guess it's not for you. I think you'd be hard-pressed to find a lot of Legends figures that don't have gaps like that. For the record, the gap on the inner lower leg is a mistransformation, a panel closes that over. Most of the rest are stress slots for ball joints, which you need to avoid breakages or stress marks. You'll find that on any figure with ball joints.

No problem! It's a figure that I was excited about when his first announced, and managed to live up to my high expectations for the most part.

I mean he's the wrong scale for me. I wouldn't like the gaps personally but I'd probably overlook them if he was the same size as an MST carbot. I can fudge some MFT bots into legends collection but their carbots are a bridge too far.

I agree. Pretty awesome figure that lives up to my expectations, I have lots of legends+ and goes great, plus I been waiting for a small static alt mode blaster boom box. I think @lilcarus said it once, from years ago in the early days of legends to where they are now. A few slots and gaps don't bother me as much

Tracks' upper arms do rotate if showing the holes to the front bothers anyone.
As for the gaps caused by mushroom pegs and expansion gaps on Ball joints - er like aside from ones made with multiple part legs you will always get that on ball joints they are designed like that on purpose to stop the ball cup splitting & it applies to Hundreds of Transformers made since the 1990's - so nothing unuisual there at all.

If I was going to critise Tracks' design it would be the lack of proper weapon storage and placement in robot mode, and the how the shoulder accessories are poorly implemented - He's certainly a lot better toy than MFT's Sideswipe though and likely the legends+ scale Datsun Bros too.
    But perhaps inferior to Hound.

    -------

But Blitwing is supposed to be out like well now so that is good to know.

    --------

& No I am still having some trouble finding Road Rage - as asked HZJ and they said that they didn't have it as it had not even been released yet - so that is why I am so confused about this.

Huh? I just ordered Road Rage from HZJ the other day. They have it listed on eBay too, maybe you used the wrong reference name? It's "MFT MS-25R Rapid Speed" according to them.

Yeah you need to be very clear with the Chinese, they take you word for word, so I bet HZJ was looking under Road Rage, could not find any bot so said no.
I was asking JL Kids if they would be getting the reissue of MS B18, boy even when I was clear they did not get me and showed me the dead version and ghostbusters, if I meant that even showed me the MP clear version after message nr3.
I just gave up and got it from Show Z instead.

so...ive been trying to figure out the best set of chug scale headmasters as the first set of Tr figures seems to have been the weakest of the line. i got the mft mindwipe and love it but it is a little short. anyone else think there could be a market for further upscaled/engineered mft headmasters to chug scale? there isnt even an alternative decent hardhead figure

That looks great. I wish my Tracks had come with that black gun in addition to his cartoon pistol. I vastly prefer it.

If I were to make a guess, I'd say we'll see Springer v2 before we see Hot Rod.

I finally pulled the trigger on what will be the first Artfire figure I've ever owned.

I already have MFT Hauler and he's fantastic, so I'm sure I'll love this one too. I'll probably have to actually buy Grapple and Inferno, at some point.
